Delicious potatoes & lemonade! Those were my highlights. The sandwiches were great too. Cute place to lunch at!
Another amazing meal at omnivore ! I sat outside & enjoyed the awesome Oct weather & the sunset sky.
Had the Bombay sandwich with fattouch salad , which they made special for me without peppers ! All delicious ! Every bite is a flavour explosion . I had the trio with homemade lemon aid . It was amazing & not too sweet! To top it all off had a date cookie & like a honey cake that I can't remember the name of. Each time I come here I feel like I am treated like family . This is the place to come for flavourful comfort food ! As an added bonus there was a comedy show going on so I decided to get a ticket & add laughter to my perfect menu!
Quelle belle découverte. J'ai pris le sandwich thai au boeuf. Un vrai délice & que dire de leur limonade maison, parfaite en saison estivale!
Warm welcome, helpful menu suggestions, thoughtful, attentive service without being overbearing.
The food is amazing! Falafels are perfect. Great sandwiches! I love the 5-choice salad plate that can include kebbe or falafel. Generous portions.
I always leave Omnivore feeling nourished & healthy.
What a gem!
We had lunch at Omnivore with our family. We were greeted warmly & the table was already set up for our reservation. Our server Kiril took great care of us & made sure we were not missing anything. The food, prepared by chef Eli, was delicious & plentiful. The portions were generous & the presentation beautiful. We began with an assortment of appetizers: hummus El Arez, hummus Shawarma, Vegan Kebbe, Three cheese rolls - all delicious. The main dishes were equally generous: Djaj sandwich (to die for!), Falafel, Fattoush & Orzo salads, all done to perfection. You have got to try it! Bring your appetite, you will not be disappointed!
Had a wonderful brunch at Omnivore West Isalnd. Delicious Lebanese cuisine with lots of options for salads, & sandwiches. A good joint to hang out with family / friends. Highly recommended.
Great food at decent prices. Next time I'll try the sandwich
On a fait livré plusieurs sandwichs, des pommes de terre, une salade & une limonade maison pour une rencontre & on a tous adoré. Un gros Wow pour les sandwichs & la limonade maison! Je recommande! Excellent service de livraison!
Cozy restaurant & quality food! The staff is super friendly! Their chicken sandwich, spicy potatoes & garlic are a must! We went on a Saturday for a friend's bday & they had live music! The ambiance is so lively & friendly!! Strongly recommend it!!
Really delicious food, great atmosphere, & very nice staff. All around excellent experience. Must try the Djaj sandwich with a side of batata & fattoush salad!
They have the best garlic potatoes & toum that I've had in a while. The service was great & the ambience was very pleasant as well. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is because we found that the sandwiches were lacking in flavour & were a little bit dry. That was the main part of the meal I felt it deserved to remove a star. Just because there are so many good Shawarma places in Montreal I didn't feel like the sandwich is actually lived up to that.
Best food, specially chicken sandwich, salad & Lemonade drink, amazing
I always love the food at Omnivore, but the last time disappointed me. The potatoes were overly salted & there was a lot of garlic sauce in the shawarma, which was overpowering. Kind of lost the taste of the sandwich itself. For 2 sandwiches, 1 beef hummus & 1 potato, it came down to 70$. On the pricey side for what we get. Again, usually delicious food, but for the price, I'd expect the flavours to be balanced!
Best shish taouk in the west island. Ceasar salad & Fatouche salad are really good 👍😊. This is the only place we'll go for the khodra sandwich. ❤️🥰
Ordered a beef sandwich & a shish taouk plate. The beef was very good while the chicken plate, not so much. It was dry, tough & under seasoned. Too bad, the beef tasted just like the one you get in the Plateau so I was expecting the same for the chicken..but for some reason, they didn't season it very well.
Best food in the area! I ordered the Djaj sandwich & absolutely adored it. Cozy ambiance with impeccable service, feels like home away from home. A must try for anyone craving to be transported to their grandma's house in lebanon.
Always a warm welcome & smiles from all staff; servers, cooks & kitchen staff. Joyful & pleasant decor, lots of REAL plants...tastefully decorated during holidays, but not overly so. Don't feel rushed to leave whenever is over, ok to linger, whether alone or in a group (had a small group gathering of ladies in our 50s in the winter & we appreciated being able to actually hear one another speaking unlike many other restaurants where to noise level, music or acoustics of location make it difficult to have conversations). Some of us are of mixed Lebanese origins so we really appreciated the homemade Lebanese & fusion dishes. My personal favorites are the samac (fish) sandwich & the Thai fusion (chicken instead of beef) sandwichwith peanut sauce. Love the homemade lemonade with hint of mint.
I am not Lebanese myself but I love their food! It is a good throwback to the middle east. They serve all kinds of foods but what I chose to order for my first time is potatoes with garlic, freshly squeezed lemonade & a pita chicken sandwich. The food was delicious & felt homemade, the service was excellent & the restaurant was clean. Overall very nice experience!
