Omnivore presents a vibrant culinary journey centered on authentic Lebanese flavors, expertly prepared with a focus on charcoal-grilled specialties and fresh, satisfying sandwiches. Diners can anticipate a menu rich in traditional mezze, succulent kebabs, and flavorful shawarma, all crafted using high-quality ingredients and time-honored recipes. The grill is the heart of the kitchen, turning out perfectly charred meats and vegetables that showcase the essence of Lebanese barbecue. Complemented by a selection of inventive sandwiches, Omnivore offers a diverse yet cohesive dining experience. This establishment delivers a genuine taste of Lebanon, making it a go-to destination for those seeking bold, distinctive tastes.
Omnivore is widely celebrated as a hidden gem in the West Island, praised for its authentic, high-quality Lebanese and Middle Eastern cuisine that many describe as fresh, flavorful, and comparable to homemade meals. Customers frequently commend the cozy atmosphere, the attentive and welcoming staff, and the variety of healthy, delicious options available, including standout dishes like the shish taouk, various salads, and flavorful sandwiches. While the majority of experiences are highly positive, with many patrons returning regularly for both the food and the unique entertainment events like comedy shows, a small number of visitors have noted inconsistencies in service quality or portion sizes. Despite these few isolated critiques, the overall consensus highlights a warm, family-oriented dining environment that provides excellent value and a memorable experience for both casual diners and large groups.
Have previously lunched at the St-Denis Omnivore & dined at Omnivore on St-Laurent boulevard. Both were great! But I would advise against going to Omnivore West Island. The service is subpar. How? Well the notion of courses is foreign to this establishment: soup is served WITH the main course, so by the time one gets to the main course, the food is cold. Also, if you order a shish taouk brochette, expect unmarinated, ordinary chicken, not that tender shish taouk taste. Furthermore, staff cleared table before this patron had finished his meal, the implied message being'this is a fast food restaurant'. But this client was under the impression that Omnivore is NOT a fast food place… Food wise, the fatoush salad was soggy & disappointing, & the kibbes were partially burnt. The chicken was very ordinary, far from the delightful Lebanese/Levantine way of preparing chicken. On the plus side, the lentil soup was quite tasty. To put as positive a spin as possible: yes to Omnivore, but no to the West Island Omnivore.
Great food & service. The meat is so tender & cooked to perfection. Salad selection is ni e too. Everything is so tasty.

Nice little place. The food is tasty & not pricey. The staff was awesome as well. We went there for Comedy Club night so it was packed but it didn't seem to affect service. Kudos to the staff 🤗
I lived next to the original Omnivore Plateau for years & loved it so much - I was overjoyed to learn there was a location in the West Island since I live in Saint Lazare now - well worth the trip - the food is so fresh & so tasty it's insane - they work so hard at it - I highly recommend them - SO GOOD !
A cozy little place on St Jean. Very tasty Lebanese food. It was our first time here & we liked it. The food, the service, & the atmosphere were all good. All in all, it was worth our time & money. I recommend giving it a try.
I organized my husband's 40th birthday at Omnivore & everything was great! The food was tasty & the portions were huge! The owner & workers were super friendly & helpful, it was easy to plan , no stress. I highly recommend as a venue for a private party!

Had a wonderful meal at Omnivore a few weeks ago. You must try this gem! The staff was really friendly & engaging, they offered suggestions as well. The music as on point, I loved their playlist. I was dancing in my seat. The atmosphere is beautiful, with live plants. Very clean & warm. They give you a pitcher of water at your table which I greatly appreciated. The food was phenomenal. Fresh, tasty & authentic. I will be going back tonight to enjoy.
