Unfortunately extremely overpriced for low quality, pretty bland food. Had mandukuk & japchae & while the latter was okay tasting although I asked to remove bean sprouts & it wasn't done, the soup was literally water, the mandu inside was tasteless & the meat was insanely grainy & dry despite the wrappers all coming undone in the soup. The portion was also so little for the price, there were exactly 3 mandu in the soup... 55$ for two minuscule dishes that really aren't fantastic is really something.
Came here for dinner & lunch, authentic Korean food. Nice marinated appetizer dishes. The swizzling beef was ok; I was expecting beef ribs, but it's not, flavor only ok. My favorite was the seafood pancake; not a big portion, but crispy & tasty; full of veggies. The beef broth with beef 🥟 was delicious.
This is a cosy little corner restaurant with a good variety of Korean dishes. I've been to a fair number of Korean restaurants & Omma had a wide variety of dishes that would appeal to all types of palettes. The dishes are well suited for sharing as well, so it is easy to get some different main courses & divvy them up.
We had a reservation & bar seating was all that was available, which was suitable. When we arrived there were open tables reserved for others. It looked to me like walk-in traffic would be taking a chance, so a reservation is recommended.
Cute restaurant & food was good. However horrible service. We came at 7pm & the server asked if we had a reservation, to which we said we didn't. She promptly said they were full & shoo us away without letting us know if we could wait or if there was a possibility to come back later. We had to leave but coudnt find any alternatives & I had the reflex to call the restaurant to see if there was any space for the night for later & to my surprise, the server said that there was availability in 15 minutes. We came back 15 minutes later & the restaurant was practically empty & had a ton of available space to & not as the server had eluded " all full". Until the end of our meal, the restaurant remained quite empty & this was from 7h30 - 9pm. We got sat down, the food was tasty, but halfway through our meal, we noticed that the other tables had some side dishes that the server would bring to them before their meals which our server never brought to us. I had to inquire about it & she went back & whispered something to the other server & finally came back with the side dishes. The meal was tasty, however the service distasteful, lacking, which dampened our dinner that could have been quite enjoyable. Please do better next time.
Cute place, few tables & bar seats with warm decoration, service was good. Not too impressed by the food (beef bibimbap/seafood pa jun/beef yachae). Smaller portions than expected (sub-par portion of meat), banchan (side dishes like kimchi etc..) were not provided like other Korean restaurants, needs to be bought.
Amazing food & excellent service at this gem of a restaurant. So many delicious dishes to chose from, all expertly prepared. The chicken wings & dumplings are super yummy.
Hidden gem of a Korean fusion restaurant near the downtown park; it offers innovative Korean dishes based on fresh, seasonal, & local ingredients. It's not a big restaurant but cozy with very attentive service. Highly recommend.
