The Kichen is authentic having visited the Iberian Peninsula over several years. I personally have had the opportunity to see the growth from infancy to a full kitchen offering a wonderful array of tapas
A well thought out wine list that is reasonable, complimenting the wonderfful food coming out of the kitchen.
The staff are courtious & knowledgeable, & offer suggestions of various specials on tap.
We never feel rushed & the wait staff are eager to engage.
Worth the drive as we live in downtown Montreal

Refurbished in the bright colours of Espagna we have returned to Ole Tapas after the lock down & the best restaurant in the West (of the island of
Montreal) is still our first choice when we dine out & dont want to drive downtown.
Nice selection of wine by the glass, extensive list of hot & cold starters & paellas. We dined facing the canal & locks of Ste Anne & the
St. Lawrence river. Family owned & operated, in the kitchen & on the floor, the food & service is personal & tops.
Don't take my word for it, go there "worth a detour".

via LibroNew place, probably getting used to the setting, bigger kitchen, & more patrons. We've never been disappointed before, but for the 130$ we paid for tapas, this time left us a little disappointed. Bland mushrooms steeping in watery liquid, the shrimp ajillo excessively salty (& i love salt), & the risotto had a whole 2 mussels, 2 baby clams, & chewy squid/octopus. we will definitely go back to give it another go because the new location is great, & the owners are super attentive, friendly & kind. fingers crossed.

Distancing & health measures are being maintained & they somehow continue to provide a warm welcoming environment making you feel like one of the family. It was so nice to finally get out for dinner & return to some form of normalcy. Thank you Margo & a Connor for the special attention last evening. I look forward to getting back there again soon.

Our most recent visit coincided with Christopher, "oyster shucker" par excellence, doing his thing with these perfect mollusks from P.E.I., we managed 30 of those critters between us two. We left not a single grain of inky stained rice of the Paella con Pulpo, our main course. In the kitchen the word is Spanish.
Owner/chef Paco & his crew serve a changing variety of cold & hot tapas & of course Paella, all delicious, authentic.
Service is personal & efficient. Margo who manages the dining room, will greet you like a regular, even on your first visit.
Michelin would say "worth a detour".

via LibroThis is a fairly small unassuming restaurant but WOW!!!! We were a group of four out for a business dinner & we had an amazing evening. The food!! Delicious! & as we were 'tapas ordering amateurs', Margot (hostess & also co-owner) asked if we would like her to take the reins & suggest some selections for us to share. Such a success that we left the whole evening in her hands! Thank you to Margot & her husband for an excellent & fun evening! We will definitely be back.

via LibroNot being familiar with tapas style restaurants, we were unsure of what to expect but the experience proved excellent. We loved it all & didn't go away hungry! It impressed our Argentine friends too.

We were 3 & we selected 8 different tapas. The highlights were the spanish olives, cod croquettes, the tiger shrimp & grilled octopus, which were all excellent.
The lamb skewer was a little too chewy & the sauté of mushrooms was just okay if a little too oily. We had to give multiple reminders for water, as we were quite thirsty from the salty, but overall satisfying meal.

The staff is super friendly & very attentive. Would go back in a heartbeat! Do make reservations, this place is popular!
