A cozy & tranquil teahouse offering a wide selection of Japanese desserts, matcha drinks, tea blends, & tea-making accessories. We tried the iced matcha latte & matcha yuzu-both were decent, though not the best we have had in the city. That said, the relaxing atmosphere & extensive menu make it worth a second visit. We are looking forward to trying the desserts & hot drinks next time. A lovely little discovery, & we also picked up some beautiful tea accessories to bring home.Voir plus

Been here couple of times as their matcha latte is extraordinary! Creamy, tasty & in great portion. Their hojicha lava cake need to wait 15 minutes for it but it's worth the wait. Not only matcha, they have another menu with great variety of teas. Definitely a nice place for tea lovers. They also sell a lot of different tea leaves from different area & a lot of tea pots & tea cups in different designs.Voir plus

This place is such a wonderful little gem. We absolutely loved the tea! My partner had tea & I got the Matcha. It was so so delicious! The quality was amazing. The Matcha brownie was so good. Look forward to visiting next time im in Montreal!Voir plus

Thés Guru is a gem. The vibe is wonderfu, the tea delicious & the service is kind. My only complaint is that the music is permanently set to " Ghibli piano playlist" & will cycle the same 4 songs at infinite. Please try some different music or Japanese jazz albums 🙇♂️. Ryo Fukui, maybe?Voir plus

It was a absolute incredible experience going there ! It was a place I've been wanting to go for a long long time now maybe about a year now but never took the time to do so until today ! (May 9 2024) The service, the atmosphere & the vibe is very a friendly & cozy ambiance, it's a absolute yes for me if I want to study/ stay in a quiet environnement 🫶 I tried a special drink dessert icecream with soy milk inside & it wasn't not too sweet & refreshing which was perfect for me!! ☆♡ Incredible decor inside, it has a lot of varieties of tea bags, goodies, tea set perfect for gifts 🎁,matcha drink, dessert, whenever hot or cold format including non dairy option & will definitely come back again when I'm craving to drink some matcha 😋🍵Voir plus

My favorite thing about this place is their green tea ice cream. Miam. Small tiny place so you might have to wait on a weekend afternoon. I found the matcha latte a bit watery but the tea fan I was with was satisfied.Voir plus

Always enjoy getting my matcha latte & hojicha latte fix at The Guru. The staff are knowledgeable in my specific requests for teas that will help my clients (I am a massage therapist) sleep better, get through menopause, boost immune system, etc etc. Dishes & presentation of yummy snacks & drinks 🍵 are very cute 🥰 🌸 Lots of teaware to choose from....Voir plus

It was the first time I ate in Thés Guru, I usually go there to replenish my collection of favorite teas, & it was a very pleasant experience. When you order a traditional tea it comes with a thermos pitcher of hot water to add to your pot of tea & a sweet to go with your tea. They also have a nice selection of Asian sweets. They also have a vast selection of teas & the owner is very knowledgeable. They offer workshops from time to time as well. I really enjoyed my visit.Voir plus
