Review Summary

Oishi Bar à Matcha is described as a cozy, relaxing spot with impeccable service and a welcoming boutique vibe. Reviewers highlight a wide range of Japanese teas and desserts, with staff who are friendly and knowledgeable about the teas. The matcha is frequently praised for high quality and depth, and drinks such as matcha latte and hojicha float receive compliments for smooth, rich flavors, though a few find some lattes too milky or not strong enough. Desserts like matcha brownies, yuzu and matcha mochi, and other sweets are noted as tasty, while some items such as macarons can be dry and others feel overpriced or portions inconsistent. The atmosphere, often described as calming and picturesque with tea accessories for sale, appeals to those seeking a relaxing cafe experience; vegan options are appreciated, and many look forward to returning to try more menu items. Overall, Oishi Bar à Matcha stands out as a delightful tea destination with a strong emphasis on matcha, quality ingredients, and a welcoming service that keeps guests returning on future visits.

Went to Oishi Bar a Matcha with my foodie friend & had a very special experience, we tried a variety of drinks & desserts, the grand cru (grand raw) matcha - award winning was good but I find overpriced, it's good but I guess it's too bitter for most people. & we tried the latte, my friend had the Taiwanese cream, & I tried the Sakura latte (with sencha), which were not outstanding, but the cups & saucers were pretty. We didn't enjoy the macarons so much, because they were too dry & hard, flavor-wise it's not wow neither. However, we really enjoyed the volcano cake, gateau fondant- hojicha & matcha, they were so good! The texture of the melting inside of the cake was really amazing, yummm, & the presentation was cute too, with sprinkle of gold. The interior decor is too much, I prefer something simpler, less cups, less teapots, less products, visually I was so overloaded & saturated. Would recommend this place for matcha lovers

Escaping the snowstorm at a cozy tea salon. Outside: winter apocalypse. Inside: fancy teapots, zen vibes, & cake. Survival mode… but make it classy! 😊

What a cozy place. You can either sit down & have some original Chinese tea, or grab a tea cake or teacup as a gift for others.

Been here couple of times as their matcha latte is extraordinary! Creamy, tasty & in great portion. Their hojicha lava cake need to wait 15 minutes for it but it's worth the wait. Not only matcha, they have another menu with great variety of teas. Definitely a nice place for tea lovers. They also sell a lot of different tea leaves from different area & a lot of tea pots & tea cups in different designs.
