Review Summary

Oishi Bar à Matcha is widely recognized as a cozy, charming teahouse that offers a tranquil atmosphere and an extensive selection of high-quality Japanese teas, matcha drinks, and unique desserts. Visitors frequently praise the delicious matcha lattes, flavorful mochis, and rich cakes, often highlighting the friendly and attentive staff who are eager to explain the menu. While the boutique vibe and variety of tea accessories are appreciated by many, some guests find certain items overpriced or occasionally inconsistent in portion size and flavor profile. Despite mixed opinions regarding the decor and specific drink ratios, the majority of patrons consider it a delightful gem in Montreal that is well worth a visit for anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing café experience.

This place is one of my fave in Montreal. There is a special spot in my heart for their matcha brownies & their white chocolate taiyakis. If you order take out, heat the brownies a little bit with a cup of milk of your choice. You'll see, it's amazing.

Lovely tea bar with a relaxed vibe & wide range of tea for sale. We tried the matcha & hojicha floats, they were delicious! Love that there's a vegan option. The soft serve is smooth & not overly sweet. Can't wait to return & try their other offerings!

I tried their matcha latté (hot) & it was delicious! Its the type of matcha latté that i would suggest to people who never had matcha before : its not super strong & bitter but not a big cup of milk either. The flavor was rich & very pleasant to drink. I could see myself drink this everyday.

The barista was nice & polite. The café is cute & well situated.
