I visited on weekend & it was pretty busy there but fortunately we got a table. I ordered Tantan ramen & Iced Hoijicha latte. Both were so good! Especially the ramen was so rich & creamy but not heavy at all. & my friend ordered Ebi burger ( shrimp burger). That was also so good! I believe all their meals are great! Would you to try everything eventually ❤?
omg ebi burger was sooo good, best shrimp burger i ever had. curry & shrimp noodle were good too & i loved the yuzu lemonade, but yeah the ebi burger with chilli sauce was the real star. had it this morning & already craving another. def coming back
I stumbled across this cafe while i was walking in the area. There are lots of seating with great lighting & lots of large windows for some sunlight.
I got the matcha latte & sesame latte. The matcha latte had great flavour & i didnt add any sweetner (maple syrup is offered). It was perfect! Then i ordered a sesame latte but note that this is already pre-sweetened. It was a little sweet for me but there was a really robust sesame flavour which i love. For lunch, i also ordered an ebi (shrimp) burger. If you've been to Japan's McDonalds, then you know how popular ebi burgers are. I have to say this tasted better than the McDonalds' one so i was pleasantly surprised.

The shrimp burger is absolutely a must to try it's so fresh & flavourful. I took it with the yuzu limonade that is absolutely incredible & definitely worth the stop
Ok wow. I tried the battered & fried shrimp burger (ebi burger) & it was the most well executed, delicious, perfect shrimp burger I've ever had. The decaf latte I ordered with it was really good as well. They were also pretty quick. They have open windows to the street for fresh air & people watching. & wifi if you want to do some work. I highly recommend for a quick lunch or meetup with friends. It's a little pricey but worth it.
Hotaru Ika Mazemen 🦑 Have to say I'm so happy I was finally able to try this amazing season ingredient. These baby squid have been on my hit list for a while & so has @ohayocafemtl since they've opened. . Located on Mont-Royal street in one of MTL biggest food scene sit a amazing little Japanese resto serving up delicious bits for both Brunch & Lunch for all who walk by. . Because I live to far, as I normally do I had to check out a couple of there staples & some specials. First, something I've always wanted to try which was there shrimp burger, end to end delicious & crunchy, great amount of sauce & spice, perfect in every bite. That along with those fries & yuzu Mayo a easy 10/10. . Next we tried there Lamb Mazemen which was a special they were having, great texture for the noodles, amazing portion of Confit lamb that was supper fall apart tender, good amount of heat & another banger. . Last & something I was most excited to try was the Baby Squid Mazemen, almost gave me a little carbonara style vibes because the ramen tasted a little thick & Cheese which I loved, tied with the freshness of the shisho herbs & spicy really tied together the dish extremely well. But I can see how it's not going to be for everyone, some of the baby squids texture is left to be acquired to some, personally I loved it! FOODGASMIC 🦑

My recent visit left me thoroughly impressed, & here's why: Hojicha latte - The perfect harmony between the fragrant hojicha tea & creamy milk creates a delightful blend. Ebi (shrimp) Burger - Upon cutting it in half, you're greeted by generous chunks of succulent shrimp nestled within the patty. Each bite bursts with flavor, showcasing the freshness & quality of the ingredients. It's a must-try. Burrata Mazemen - Delicious, but be warned that it can be a bit heavy if enjoyed solo.

It's the new hot spot on the Plateau because it's often full during the weekend. All the dishes were full of flavors, nice portion & fresh. ✨MUST TRY THE FRIES!
