We were out on a croissant hunting expedition, & needing a fill of a bigger fill, we were driving along Mt. Royal, & came across this little lovely pleasant place. Service is excellent -- except it's not table service -- it's order at the counter, pay & you get a post with a number for delivery of your meal. Food is really interesting, a bit of a Western take on Japanese food. We had a tamago sando, & I was expecting a tamago, but instead it was an equally interesting delicious deconstructed egg salad. That, & a great chicken karaage. Would I go back -- 100%.

Ohayo cafe on Mont Royal is serving up comforting japanese cuisine in an aesthetically pleasing vibe with a great "pour over" coffee program. Le café Ohayo sur Mont Royal sert une cuisine japonaise réconfortante dans une ambiance esthétiquement agréable avec un excellent programme de café "pour over".

Came for a quick lunch & tried the tamago (egg salad) sando w/ mortadella. It was crazy good. Already looking forward to coming back to try everything else.

Excellente nourriture. Je conseille le burger au poulet avec frites. Café de qualité. Par contre, on a attendu notre commande 30mins & le premier caissier ne parlait pas français.
