I ordered Tantan ramen & Iced Hoijicha latte. Both were so good! Especially the ramen was so rich & creamy but not heavy at all. & my friend ordered Ebi burger ( shrimp burger). That was also so good! I believe all their meals are great! Would you to try everything eventually ❤?
Mind-blowing experience!
My friend & I were just walking by, saw tons of people inside, & decided we had to check it out. We are so glad we did because we got hooked instantly!
The staff gave us some fantastic recommendations. I ordered the Vegan Vegetable Ramen Tantan-it was pure peace in a bowl. Absolutely delicious, incredibly creamy, & easily some of the best ramen I've ever had. My friend got the Veggie Burger with fries & a Sesame Seed Latte, & both were just out of this world.
Everything we tasted was next-level delicious. If you're looking for an extra-special meal, this is the spot. 10/10, we will definitely be back!
This is the best ramen soup I ever ate in my life, & the edi burger was topnotch. Recommend 100 percent
I really wanted to like this place. The service was great & I like the quiet vibe but I go to restaurants for the food &, unfortunately, it left a bad taste in my mouth (literally).
I ordered the chicken burger & katsu sando. The chicken burger was ok. The toppings are what were underwhelming. This was definitely not a particularly memorable fried chicken sandwich.
Now onto the katsu sando (fried pork sandwich). This is one of the worst sandwiches I've ever had. I should have expected to find it terrible when I saw honey mustard & worcestershire sauce as toppings in there. The worcestershire sauce is the particularly egregious choice here; it makes it so that you end up with a sour tasting pork sandwich despite how well cooked the pork is. Worcestershire sauce has very few redeeming qualities to me. I thought that maybe it would magically work with fried pork but I was wrong, oh so very wrong...
For those reasons, Café Ohayo gets a 2 out of 5 from me. Great staff & nice little place but I did not enjoy my food.
This is an amazing Japanese style cafe with great food & drinks! You order at the front, & your food is brought out to you very quickly. On a nice day, this cafe has lots of really natural lighting & a really minimal, cozy atmosphere. We tried the niku miso ramen tantan & the ebi burger along with an iced americano & the matcha yuzu cloud. Both dishes tasted super fresh & delicious. The drinks were very tasty as well, & overall, everything was presented very cleanly. If you're looking for a taste of Japan during your Montreal vacation, come to Ohayo!
The burger was good but could be more flavorful! Chips were fun to eat. I had a chai latte that was also mid, needed more depth in flavor, but everything overall was okay! Slightly overrated place for food :)
omg ebi burger was sooo good, best shrimp burger i ever had. curry & shrimp noodle were good too & i loved the yuzu lemonade, but yeah the ebi burger with chilli sauce was the real star. had it this morning & already craving another. def coming back
