Hey amazing Sorbet that they do at the cafe with really interesting fruit, Claudia is so kind & cheerful. There are empanadas & other pastries with tasty coffee. I enjoyed the experience !
Just had an out of this world ice cream experience. Came into this small cafe to try the ice cream & without asking were given tastes of many incredible fruit flavored ice creams by the sweetest person ever. All wonderful. I settled on the tamarind. Soooo good! Sooo original. Thanks you Oh My Deer Cafe

Un endroit agréable pour prendre un bon café & déguster une variété de tartes : tarte au poulet, tarte à la viande & tarte aux fruits. La nourriture était bonne. J'ai apprécié. Le personnel est souriant & respectueux. L'endroit est calme & la musique espagnole était excellente. Il y a des tables pour travailler en buvant du café.
This is hands down my favourite cafe in Montreal (& I have visited a LOT of cafes). Super friendly staff, delicious pastries, amazing coffee & the most warm & welcoming atmosphere. If you want somewhere to relax after a day in the Plateau or downtown with a warm cup of coffee, this is the place to be. Can't recommend it enough!!
I was a frequent customer when the cafe reopened in their new & bigger location, & I got a loyalty card where after 6 coffees, the 7th one is free. When I went to grab my free coffee this week, I asked for a latte but then the barista told me that the free coffee can only be an Americano… I'm not a fan of Americano & I find it rather underwhelming to know that you can't even choose the coffee you'd like. I ended up getting it & getting a latte as well, since that the drink I wanted. Is this how one treat a customer who have been here since the re-opening ? On the card, it's only mentioned you can get a free 12oz coffee, there's no mention it has to be an Americano, it feels like the barista either didn't know about the loyalty card or just wanted to cheap us out…
I find it unfortunate because when they reopened I was very enthusiastic to have an independant cafe in the neighbourhood, & I always found their staff to be friendly (Juan & José). This is a good neighbourhood cafe nonetheless but I don't see them wanting to build an active relationship with their customers living in Plateau.
Came here to study & get some food. The ambiance is quite charming & the food/drinks were good. Those are the only 2 qualifications you need for a good café.

The welcome begins with the amazing & enchanting scent inside the café. I've always passed by, but never truly deer (pun intended) to go inside - until today. I'm so glad I did! The food is excellent, & the peaceful atmosphere is a rare gem compared to other cafés where it's hard to work in peace. I'll definitely be back!
When around Plateau Mont Royal come by "Oh My Deer Café", have a good coffee, empanadas, smoothies, & much more. Excellent atmosphere, service, food, drinks, & ice cream. Really recommend this place. Enjoy!!!
Super café ! Le chocolat chaud est délicieux & les pâtisseries sont vraiment bonnes ! Attention toutefois, ce lieu est victime de son succès & trouver une place assise en hiver peut se révéler compliqué. Je recommande !
Food & coffee are fairly good. Unfortunately, the café's atmosphere isn't particularly great with staff watching TikTok/Instagram videos on speaker on their phone to the point where it drowned out the café's background music. If you're looking to grab a take away coffee or snack, then this is still a great place. There's better places nearby to have a conversation or read a book though.
