One of the best bakeries. Sitting there gives positive energy. I tried the cappuccino & the eclair dessert. It was the best ever. The service was excellent & the staff were respectful. At the same time, the prices were relatively high.
The quality of the trompe oeils are impecable. A literal piece of art. I loved how all of them had a great balance of sweet, tart & sour. I loved the different textures too.
My personal favorite was the lemon one, it's small, soft & sour. My partner enjoyed the cocoa one, because it had a rich chocolate taste. The mango one was refreshing & I loved the fresh mango cubes inside. The pear looked so realistic & the flavour is subtle, yet earthy.
We got coffee to go with our cakes & they were great too !
Overall, we loved the desserts & we will be coming back !
Bonne patisserie Francaise !
Ofauria is my go to place for all my dessert. I am a big fan of Chef Faure & have been visiting his previous pastery shop in the old port.
Some people can say it's pricey but you pay for good product & delicious authentic flavours.
The most expensive bakery in Quebec. The experience was good & the place was nice too, the service was good.
Taste was good similar to other competitors in the market. I am giving 3 stars because too expensive & customer deserve to see the price tag on all items. I was shocked when I got the bill. I over heard that the manago dessert was $18 per person !!!
I am glad I tried it, but won't come again.
Great desserts very cool concept.
staff look miserable, but they stayed polite
High quality French dessert, nice atmosphere with beautiful background music & friendly good service .
Yummy desserts, good service & nice place. Those who keep nagging about prices .. you can always go to Tim Hortons. Everything comes with a price. We hope you open longer hours :)
I guess among the best croissant/bread/desserts in great Montreal! Strongly recommended. The place is fancy
Time Police! Be careful not to stay there over two hours while enjoying your coffee & dessert because a worker will come asking you numerous times if you would like to have something else. After the third or fourth time I asked her if she wanted us to leave & she said yes. She explained in a rude way that since it's the weekend, they usually don't accept people to stay more than two hours. It was in the afternoon, & there were empty seats! The desserts are excellent but the chef shouldn't hire people like that.
Top-notch quality & creativity in every pastry. A must-visit for any dessert lover.
Nestled in the heart of laval, Ofauria is a dessert aficionado's dream come true. Recently, my cousin & I embarked on a sweet journey to this enchanting establishment, & it was nothing short of delightful. Upon entering Ofauria, we were immediately captivated by its charming ambiance. The elegant decor, coupled with warm lighting, created an inviting atmosphere that beckoned us to explore its offerings. The display of desserts was a feast for the eyes, showcasing a vast array of tantalizing treats that left us spoiled for choice. After much deliberation, we settled on indulging in the chocolate & regular croissants, while my kids eagerly opted for the raspberry croissant. Additionally, we couldn't resist sampling another dessert that caught our eye. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, a testament to the mastery of Ofauria's culinary craftsmanship. What truly set Ofauria apart, however, was the impeccable service we received. From the moment we stepped through the door, the staff greeted us with warmth & professionalism. They guided us through the menu with enthusiasm, offering insightful recommendations that enhanced our dining experience. In conclusion, our visit to Ofauria was an unforgettable culinary adventure. With its exquisite desserts, charming ambiance, & exceptional service, it has secured a special place in our hearts.
