Review Summary

Reviews portray ÔBreton as a true Breton experience in Montreal, with crepes made to order and a warm, authentic vibe. Crepes and galettes are praised for being thin, crisp, and flavorful, with standout touches like a homemade chocolate hazelnut spread and a salted caramel. Service is repeatedly described as attentive and friendly, with a welcoming atmosphere and helpful wine recommendations from the staff. Ordering ahead is advised to ensure freshness, and the menu covers both savory galettes and sweet crepes that pair well with Quebec artisanal wines and ciders. The overall impression is that the place offers high quality, reasonable prices, and a charming, Breton inspired experience that invites return visits.

Very tasty & nice especially if you adore pancakes! I ordered a salmon Baltique one (gluten free)! 🤩😺👌 there is also a nice choice of Quebec artisanal wines/ciders. It's situated in the heart of one of the most tourist streets in Montreal, very French vibe!! Merci. 🤩

We were in the mood for some crepes & found Overton & were blown away. The menu may seem small but the flavor is huge. The buckwheat batter is so good, not grainy or bitter at all. My favorite crepe was the one that had cheese & spinach as well as walnuts & honey- amazing. The owner was so kind & had a lot of information to offer about the ciders & wine & crepes too. We look forward to coming back again!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a charming local crepe restaurant in the neighborhood. It was truly an exceptional experience; the crepes were freshly made with high-quality ingredients, & the service was impeccable. The owner's warm hospitality added to the delightful atmosphere. Additionally, they offer a diverse selection of products, including ciders, confit de foie, Pate, & more, further enhancing the dining experience. Should you find yourself in the vicinity, I highly recommend supporting this wonderful family-owned establishment.

We visited Montreal over the weekend & were so happy to find the real galettes bretonnes & crepes so we got 6 of each to bring back to Toronto & have at home with our fillings of choice & a bottle of local cider. They were delicious! The real deal! They taste just like in Brittany & my breton was so happy. Highly recommend.

My children & I stopped here before the long drive home for some crepes & drinks. Cyril, the owner was so kind & the crepes were amazing. His homemade chocolate & caramel are not to missed & la complete was delicious. The kids really enjoyed their ciders & I my hot chocolate as well. Merci, thank you. We hope to get back there again soon. Santé!

Cyril, the friendly & engaging owner, took time to explain about the incredible selection of ciders, all produced in Québec. He helped us choose some special ciders as gifts. I’m sorry we didn’t have time to try the crepes!
