Le service était bien aucun soucis par contre le burger était plus que décevant : une viande si sèche & surcuite , les frites huileuse & écoeurantes , je ne les ai pas finies & la caipirinha qui n'en était pas une était juste horriblement sucrée. Le lieu est très bruyant mais là encore ce n'est pas un reproche c'est un lieu convivial donc c'est normal , si l'on cherche un lieu tranquille il faut prendre une autre option. En résumé hormis le verre d'eau je n'ai rien apprécié du repas entier , une première depuis bien Longtemps pour moi
3.5 stars . Located near me I figured I would give this place a shot for dinner. I ordered the tartare of the moment & it was beef. Good enough but lacked a bit of oophm. My boyfriend got the burger with bacon & cheese but the cheese was not melted so it looked overall cold, he said the taste was alright. The fries & side salad were really good in my opinion! So next time I think I'll try the poutine. The service was great & friendly! I recommend reserving in advance because the place is a bit small & it fills up quick!
Small bar area (less than 10 spots), good service, food & prices not so much... I had a tough dry deer burger, which did not tasted fresh, maybe re- grilled.

10 out of 10! We had an outstanding dinner (duck confit poutine, seafood chowder gratin & beef burger) followed by the best creme brulee. Staff were fabulous, the atmosphere comfortable & welcoming. Highly recommend
Great restaurant/ bar, very friendly staff who were attentive throughout the night. Got the french onion soup, mussels, & bison burger. Everything was delicious, except the burger which was so dry I couldn't eat more than half. Bit disappointed but overall a good experience.

We went here for dinner. My salad with my bison burger was excellent. The dressing was perfect with lots of flavor. Unfortunately my sons' meals were less than good. The burgers were burned to charcoal & the dressing in their salads was oil only. It was very unfortunate but we will go back just not for the burgers.
I've been going to Nyks for years & the food is always perfect - I've eaten more than 100 burgers there! Everything is tasty - & if you've eaten your way around the menu then there's always 4-5 options on the menu of the day. The beer list is great - mix of local + a few pub favourites (like Guinness!) Go often enough & the staff will greet you by name & make sure your beer gets poured as you walk into the place. It's the only place in the area that has a real great cosy feeling when you open the door. Definitely a hangout for locals.

- I had to request the menus after 10-15 minutes after being seated
- after we ordered it took about 30 minutes for our food to arrive (plate of mussels & a chicken burger)
prices were ok
Bottom line, I wouldn't recommend this place especially for lunch
