Review Summary

Novello is described as a stylish, modern dining spot with a warm, inviting vibe that suits both casual meals and special occasions. The menu covers a variety of Italian-inspired dishes, with many reviewers praising items like calamari, pastas, ravioli, gnocchi, and seafood, along with a well regarded rack of lamb and minestrone; wine selections are frequently praised. The service is repeatedly noted as attentive and friendly, though a few experiences mention gaps in attention, water service, or dessert timing, and a couple of dishes were described as overly salty or not prepared as ordered (for example a seafood pasta served with spaghettinis). The ambience is described as clean, intimate, and versatile, with private dining options used for celebrations and corporate events. Overall, reviews highlight generous portions, good to excellent quality, and a solid dining experience, tempered by occasional price concerns and inconsistent service.

Best lunch spot in the south shore in my opinion. From entrée to the dessert to the bread, everything was 👌

The food was absolutely amazing-flavorful, fresh, & clearly made to order. We especially loved the rack of lamb, the ravioli, & the minestrone soup. Everything tasted high quality & thoughtfully prepared. The cocktail menu was great, & our server gave excellent drink recommendations. Food came out in about 20 minutes, so I'd recommend starting with an appetizer.

The ambiance inside is warm & aesthetic-great vibe for a date night or special dinner.

Only critique: the bread service. For a restaurant that feels close to fine dining, the cold sliced bread with plastic butter packets felt out of place. A warm artisanal bread with oil or balsamic would elevate the experience & match the standard set by the rest of the meal.

Overall, we had an amazing time & will definitely be back!

Ordinary place, food was ok but not worth the price. Table missing Salt, Pepper, & bread served cold. I dunno i was expecting much more from this restaurant based on the prices..
