Lanzhou Lamian, also known as Lanzhou Hand-Pulled Noodles, is a type of Chinese noodle dish that originated in Lanzhou, the capital city of Gansu province in China. It is a popular street food in China and can be found in many Chinese restaurants around the world. The process of making Lanzhou Lamian is an art form in itself. The dough is made from wheat flour, water, and sometimes eggs. The dough is then hand-pulled, stretched, and folded in a specific way to create the thin, chewy noodles. The noodles are then boiled and served in a clear soup broth, which is made from beef bones, spices, and herbs. Thinly sliced beef, green onions, and cilantro are often added as toppings.

Review Summary

Across reviews, Nouilles KungFu is praised for fresh, handmade noodles and flavorful broths, with standout dishes like braised beef noodle soup and Dan Dan noodles, and the option to see noodles made in the kitchen; customers appreciate good value, quick service, and convenient parking, with many saying the restaurant is a reliable go-to for a comforting bowl after work or a quick lunch. Some feedback notes that the ordering and seating flow can be a bit confusing at first, portions are generous, and a few bowls are a touch salty or bland, while pork can be chewy and a few staff language barriers appear, though overall service remains friendly and efficient.

The food here is excellent! The dan dan noodles had the perfect depth of flavor & the beef brisket noodles were incredibly savory. Service was fast, & the location is super convenient with easy access for the whole family.

When we came in I thought it was cafeteria style..order first then sit down

But actually it's not..we went to counter first to order but asked the staff

Then we back tô tables to find a seat 🥲😝 anyways ..then came to get our order later

We got the popular dish with braised beef meat & triple fine noodles to accommodate the soup & Japanese sweet potatoes French fries 🍟 (it was ok too not salted plain taste but with mayo dip)

The noodles itself was sufficient but bok choy 🥬 they gave too little..skinny small ones like 3x pieces (wished it was 2x big chunks like they show ?n menu)

The flavor isn't all there it could be improved by adding more so we can taste it joyfully but overall just alright for a quick bite

Parking 🅿? spots in front of resto but only for 20 min time limit so we parked à bit farther at back where winners is etc

OMG this is literally the best one I've ever had. The noodles are perfectly chewy, the beef is tender & flavorful, & the sauce ties everything together so well. I'm obsessed!!!!!!!!MUST TRY ??

We ordered the large Shanxi noodles, but they brought a small one… It tasted like plain flour - no flavor at all. The'soup' in the kids' tomato noodles & the sauerkraut noodles was basically water. $6 for a tiny bite of shredded potato (way too sour & sweet) & another $6 for a small portion of overly salty pickled kelp… seriously? Is this New York pricing??
Awful experience overall. Service was pretty much nonexistent.

Editing review to answer owner:
I definitely made an order to go today. My husband ordered it there. No one said anything about reheating the food. Normally I don't have to reheat food I just ordered. I understand about the noodles needing to be cold, but the quality & flavour of the food was just really not good or satisfying in my opinion. It was extremely bland & the meat was mostly tendon or something (most of it was transparent & very flavorless) I'm sure it's great for others, but not for me.

This meal was very very meh & underwhelming. Around 20$ for very flavorless(no spice, no heat, nothing), cold & chewy noodles. The meat was weird flavorless & chewy also. Really not for me.
