Nouilles KungFu Laval Restaurant: Menu, Reviews & Reserve (2026)
AsianSoupsGrill
Lanzhou Lamian, also known as Lanzhou Hand-Pulled Noodles, is a type of Chinese noodle dish that originated in Lanzhou, the capital city of Gansu province in China. It is a popular street food in China and can be found in many Chinese restaurants around the world. The process of making Lanzhou Lamian is an art form in itself. The dough is made from wheat flour, water, and sometimes eggs. The dough is then hand-pulled, stretched, and folded in a specific way to create the thin, chewy noodles. The noodles are then boiled and served in a clear soup broth, which is made from beef bones, spices, and herbs. Thinly sliced beef, green onions, and cilantro are often added as toppings.

Review Summary

Nouilles KungFu is highlighted for fresh handmade noodles and a flavorful broth. Beef noodle soup and braised beef with noodles are frequently praised for tender meat and comforting, well balanced flavors, with the noodles noted for their chewy, fresh texture. The menu items such as Dan Dan and Lanzhou style noodles attract praise for authenticity, and many reviews mention watching the noodles being made. Value and generous portions are commonly cited, with several diners calling prices reasonable for the quality. Some criticisms appear, including uneven service, language barriers, and a few dishes that come across too salty or not as strong in flavor. Overall the reviews present Nouilles KungFu as a solid authentic noodle spot in Laval, with many diners planning to return to try more dishes.

When we came in I thought it was cafeteria style..order first then sit down

But actually it's not..we went to counter first to order but asked the staff

Then we back tô tables to find a seat 🥲😝 anyways ..then came to get our order later

We got the popular dish with braised beef meat & triple fine noodles to accommodate the soup & Japanese sweet potatoes French fries 🍟 (it was ok too not salted plain taste but with mayo dip)

The noodles itself was sufficient but bok choy 🥬 they gave too little..skinny small ones like 3x pieces (wished it was 2x big chunks like they show ?n menu)

The flavor isn't all there it could be improved by adding more so we can taste it joyfully but overall just alright for a quick bite

Parking 🅿? spots in front of resto but only for 20 min time limit so we parked à bit farther at back where winners is etc

We both ordered the braised beef noodle soup with cucumber salad & dumpling side. The soup was wonderful, the salad was very nice. Dumplings were basic, but just as good as anywhere else. I am very happy to have this traditional Chinese food in Laval. Service was quick & friendly. We'll be back to try more things on the menu.

I would recommend Special nouille de boeuf & nouille de Lan Zhou. The braised beef & fried fries were so so. Service was fast & very courteous.
