This place was recommended to us by family. I must say it did not disappoint. The focaccia was good, 4$ extra for the special olive oil from italy the waiter tried to take it away during the meal.. i told him calmly put the olive oil back on the table before i bite ur fgn hand off. Tortelini with ricotta was rlly good the sweetness of the corn (which is in season) was a good counter to the dish & nice twist. Homemade pasta great, the porc was unbelievable, so was the fish. & the beef tartare ming forget abaaaat it 10/10. One thing that pissed me off tho it that it was 6pm with punk weird alternative music blasting hello ur an italian restaurant put some
Vivaldi or smtg & put the sound down when we ask… you wanna know why?? It is out of respect… Salute tommy ! Dont go getting too big on me
I wish I could give it 5 stars. The service was friendly & attentive. The food was delicious & fresh. But unfortunately the portions were surprisingly small (not even joking, only 5 pieces of pasta in a pasta dish). Would I go back? Probably. But I wouldn't come with a big appetitex
I've been coming to Nora Gray for years & it never loses its charm, even on a random Tuesday night when I stopped in last week. The cacio e pepe they had on the menu that evening was perfectly simple & rich in all the right ways, one of those dishes that sounds easy but clearly isn't. The room has this warm, low-lit energy that makes you want to linger over another glass of wine even when you know you have work in the morning. If you live in Montreal & haven't made this a regular spot yet, you're really missing out.

Went for dinner & thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I had a lager to start & then the focaccia came. Very good with the pepperoncini. I ordered the fish, which was delicious, but next time I'd order the rigatoni. The fish came with courgette & chickpeas, & while the courgette was very good, I found the chickpeas indistinguishable from the canned ones from home. My wife let me taste her Rigatoni & it was outstanding.
The plates aren't very large & this restaurant is not cheap, but I am tempted to come back for either the rigatoni or to try something else from their menu. Seating at the bar is the best, & Ben treated us right with exceptional service.
had the most amazing dining experience tonight. the tomato appetizer with pepperoncini oil paired with the tomatini cocktail was chefs kiss. the star of the show was the corn pasta…insane. delicious. to top it all off the bartender Ben was so thorough in explaining the menu & really made our dining experience seamless & fun. additionally the manager Lexi was so so kind & welcoming. will definitely be back one day!!
This is a rare find. It competes with what use to be my favourite restaurant on the planet called'Veya' in Anguilla in the West Indies.
Almost every dish is spectacular & the staff
is friendly, very knowledgeable with a great sense of humor.
If you have noise level issues book a table outside.
In summer months (indoors) the heat might be an issue.
We'll go back because among fine restaurants
this one is easily among the best.

This place was an absolute delight from start to finish. I can't recommend enough. Go here!! We called for a table & they weren't able to get us in until later, which didn't quite work for us with a baby, & then they actually called us back a few minutes later to let us know they were able to accommodate us, which I thought was very professional & courteous. The excellent service continued throughout dinner with thoughtful wine recommendations & attention to my mother's allergies. The food was equally excellent. We had the mortadella, focaccia, & tuna carpaccio - I could've eaten a dozen plates of each. We each had a different pasta dish & you could tell that the pasta was made in house & the ingredients were fresh & well thought-out. Simple ingredients done beautifully. I am from out of town & would make plans to come back, for sure.
