A must visit in Lachine Often enough it's crowded, even if most customers are here for takeout. Coffee, pizza, focaccia & good variety of pastry & desserts are in good supply. During holidays there's various dishes themed for Easter, Christmas - if you want something special. There's a frozen food & preserves section , not to forget the olive oil

The food is amazing, the pastry other level, but there is 0 knowledge of how to do a good coffee ! Literally is very easy to say there is not a barista in that place all the coffees we ordered was the same, not difference between cappuccino, latte & flat white! Very disappointing for that the rest was good !
We've lived in Lachine for just over 3 years & this is an absolute staple in our lives. We eat from here once a week. From sandwiches, desserts, coffees, frozen meals & all of the above available to-go, you cannot go wrong at Nonnina. The atmosphere is tremendous & it's family-owned. If you want to support a local business & eat great food, then Nonnina is the place for you!
A local recommended this spot to us & we're so glad we went! Amazing food. We got the spicy chicken sandwich (amazing & very large portion) & ricotta thyme focaccia (vegetarian & SO GOOD). We also got the nutella corne (SO GOOD, do not skip this), & a croissant. I also got their cookies to go (they have it in little bags upfront) & those were still so yummy when I ate them 2 days later at home. Coffee was also great!
Amasing place for everyday & for catering! Lunch: saucissage sandwich, coffee: paired with nutella horn, dessert for dinner: literally anything from their counter. We also used their pizzas as a midnight snack for a wedding & it was perfect!
It's more of a 4.5. Loved the place. The food is good. Vibes & ambiance are great. We went for a black coffee, Chocolatine Croissant, Arancini Portobello, a Grilled Veggie Sandwich & a Caprese Sandwich. Loved the coffee & Chocolatine combo. Arancini was good as well. Sandwiches could have been better. While the Grilled Veggie Sandwich could have used more salt, Caprese was quite salty (perhaps due to olives). Loved the focaccia though.
Staff was great & friendly. If you're a dine in, they give you this device at the time of placing the order, which vibrates once your order is ready. The order was ready very quickly.
There's plenty of seating, inside as well as outside.
There's street parking outside where some spots were available but it can be tricky on a busy sunny weekend.
Definitely recommended.

I’m torn on reviewing this place but decided to give it 4 stars as we overall enjoyed the food, however it was absolutely freezing inside making it so unpleasant to sit in there & have our things. We a ricotta pastry which had too much cream but was very good, & a bombolone with jam which my husband also said had too much jam in it. The coffees were ok but not anything special. The pizza was very good. The other baked goods like croissants looked delicious so might try those next time.
