If you are looking for an outstanding patisserie/cafe to have breakfast/brunch/lunch, then Nonnina is the place for you.
They have a tremendous selection of coffees, focaccias, made-to-order sandwiches & desserts.
It is largely a self-serve cafe, where you place your order, get a pager to let you know when your food will be ready for pick up at the side counter, then you proceed to the Barrista station to pick up your coffee. After picking up your coffee, you can neither try to find an open table (a bit of a challenge in the winter, when the patio is closed & the open air doors are closed), or wait by the side counter for your pager to buzz.
The fresh sandwiches are huge & delicious.
I had the fresh porcetta sandwich, which kind of resembled a shawarma, with red onions & white sauce in the bottom & topped with a mixture of thinly sliced pork & shredded lettuce.
My wife ordered a Turkey Club & could only finish half of it.
On our way out, we picked up half a dozen pastries for a dinner party that night, all of which were delicious.
The menu is available online but the visuals don't do adequate service to the food.Voir plus

I've been to Nonnina's twice snd each time I found the coffee subpar. Twice now I've had the Americana & twice I wondered'what is wrong with this coffee'. Can it be the water they use or maybe the milk in those little creamers is stale. Or maybe it's their choice of coffee.Voir plus

I've been on the hunt for a good bakery in Lasalle /lachine & I'm so happy I found this place ! I got the tiramisu & I can't lie it is the best one I've had in Montreal so far !!! So creamy & thick , so flavorful I loved it 😍😍 I also got the pizza that was pretty good as well ! Can't wait to try more of their baked goods 🤤Voir plus

Always great no matter what you order. We live so far & go there atleast once a week. Quality is outstanding. From sandwiches to desserts to coffees to pizzas, everything is good. Except the lady owner/manager could smile a little... they're making a killing. Atleast she doesn't just stand there she helps around.
Update: Zeppole are delicious during the Zeppole season & pistachio one is made with real Pistachio cream. Unlike some places who put green food coloring.Voir plus

Went for a late lunch. Had a chicken cutlet sandwich, cod croquettes, & ordered some cannoli & zeppole for the office. Everything was delicious & fresh. The sandwich was huge & could only finish half! The pizza looked delicious. The service was friendly & efficient. A little on the pricier side but it is good quality & comparable for the west island. OK, so I almost never write reviews & I pretty much never complain about food/service. But Nonnina messed up & I really felt the need to let them know. So I called them, mostly just to vent. Well, I must say, I'm blown away at how far they went out of their way to apologize & to try to make things right. So, not only do these guys make the very best cannolis & natas (& more!) in the city, they also really know how to take care of their customers.
