Exceptional food. Wonderful service & great atmosphere - this was my favourite restaurant experience of my holiday. Could recommend it enough.
The portions were very small, the food lacked flavor, & a lot of flies were flying around the place. The service was good, but the experience was disappointing.
Service was top, Tommy & Julien really take care of there clients. Wine was excellent! Food was incredible to say the least . Very creative menu, le gros chef Charles is a genius. The wine is top & the waiters are very knowledgeable & will guide you for your perfect wine pairing. Thank you Nolan for the great experience will Definetly return!
Très bon restaurant à Montréal! Nous avons eux un super service autant par le barman que par notre serveuse (Béatrice). Service très rapide accompagné d'excellentes explications sur les plats. Nous avons demandé à changer de place au cours de la soirée, notre serveuse nous a trouvé une place en terrasse très rapidement. Je recommande cette place!!
Sans aucun doute une adresse incontournable. Chaque plat était un vrai coup de coeur, mention spéciale au tartare de boeuf & le plat de carottes.
Expérience incroyable. Staff incroyable, tellement une belle accueil, & que dire de la nourriture… oufff! Props au chef Charles, menu unique & délectable 🤌🏻🤌🏻

Wow! the carrots & linguine were to die for! We also had the tuna crudo & beef tongue they were really good. The service was very on point & elevated but with a casual atmosphere & no dress code as their motto is'as you are'. We will definitely be back.
I was sent to this place erroneously by Timeleft as I had asked for something lower budget, but despite not eating anything me & the other 3 people at my table (who did eat something) did not have such a great experience. The windows had no screens on them & there were many flies, it was 30 degrees out & there was no air conditioning. They wouldn't leave a pitcher or bottle of water at our table, & yes the waiters refilled our glasses promptly but we would have preferred to not have to have them run back & forth just for the water. The water was regular tap water, not filtered, & there was no ice in it, which would have been welcome on such a hot day. The bottles they served the water from were dark brown glass with a narrow neck, I don't know how they're cleaning those out or even seeing inside them to see if they're clean. There was no printed cocktail menu, only verbally shared by the waiter, & I was charged $2 more that the quoted price for my drink. Two of the four meat items on the menu were not available, & the portions were small for the price.
Charming & great vibe with a French twist!
We were wonderfully surprised by this little bistro with French culinary accents. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious, specially the beef tongue. Yum!!
Highly recommended to enjoy a drink, share some delicious food & a great conversation among friends. You won't regret it!
Nolan was good, we made last minute reservations on a Monday evening which was easy. We sat on the outdoor terrace - also lovely. Overall the food was good, the best dishes were the tomatoes & labneh, radishes, & pork. The lobster dish was very very small & the mushrooms & asparagus were a miss. There were also some forgotten dishes & our waiter was a bit hard to track down but attentive when at the table. I would definitely try again & love the focus on local produce.
Went to Nolan with my 2 kids yesterday & had an amazing time. The food & service were absolutely incredible. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Montreal.
Nous avons découvert ce restaurant à l'occasion d'un week-end à Montréal, & quelle belle surprise.
Julien nous a accompagnés tout au long du repas avec une superbe sélection de vins, & nous a fait découvrir la cuisine de l'équipe, à la fois savoureuse & inventive.
Mention spéciale pour le chou & le flétan, qui étaient mes plats préférés, mais tout le reste était vraiment à la hauteur.
Franchement, chapeau. Je recommande sans hésiter. Bravo à toute l'équipe !
While I have heard great things about Nolan, I was very disappointed with my experience.
We ordered Zucchini flowers, mushrooms, pasta dishes & tomatoes.
The zucchini flowers & the mushroom were deep fried, but it was a lot of batter & it was dry/burnt in my opinion (you can see the pictures for reference). I would not recommend either of these dishes.
The tomatoes with the labneh were delicious, & this was probably the highlight of the meal. The pasta dishes were good.
The service is what really frustrated me. It started off great, but our waiter disappeared halfway through our meal. I was interested in trying some wines, but I was only proposed one glass (it was empty as of the second course). Half an hour after our plates were cleared, no one asked if we wanted any dessert. I finally had to call out to a neighbouring waiter to get the bill. Ironically, the tipping options were set to 20% to 25%. It might be in view of the new law that passed, & that would have been ok nowadays if the service was at least passable.
In retrospect, I sound picky, but the food was not great & the lack of attention was frustrating. I think my expectations were fair for the cost of the meal. Perhaps it was an off-night, given the other reviews, but I'm not sure if I'll be trying it again.
Excellente expérience. Les plats sont inspirés de la cuisine francaise : des mélanges de saveurs élaborés, tout en finesse. Le personnel est agréable & le service était parfait

on se croirait dans un bouchon lyonnais trendy, avec un menu inspiré par les saveurs, la culture & les classiques du terroir Québécois, le tout au coeur de griffintown ... mention spécial à la carte des vin A1, rien à envier à celle d'un bouchon !
Un peu déçue de mon expérience, mais c'est peut-être à cause de mes choix. J'ai prix les betteraves & le linguine & c'était vraiment bof. Il manquait de goût & les pâtes étaient tièdes. Le service par contre était impeccable & le dessert délicieux. Puisque c'est proche de chez moo je vais donner une autre chance mais cette fois-là je vais essayer un des spéciaux ou une viande.
