It was my first time visiting this place, & unfortunately, I was very disappointed. I ordered the beef shawarma plate, but what I received was nothing like what I expected. The meat consisted of only four or five slices, about one inch wide & three inches long. It didn't even look like beef shawarma; it resembled ham or something similar. The pieces appeared to have been fried in a pan & were served with rice & other sides.
I didn't take a picture, but the dish was very disappointing. The photo shown on the menu was completely different from what was actually served. When I mentioned this, the server explained that the picture on the menu was for the pork version & that mine was the beef version. However, I still don't understand why there should be such a significant difference. What I received looked like an entirely different dish from what was advertised.
To be honest, the dish was so far from what a shawarma should be that I got the impression that the cook had never even tasted shawarma before.

I came to Montreal recently with my friends & decided to land on this place & it was a wonderful experience, the service was amazing as well as the other people around eating, the hospitality from Eric was great he made me feel comfortable. The food was great & fresh! Definitely come by & stop. Not just food but a place to sit down.

Il n'est pas faux de dire que chez Nikas, c'est vous créez votre ambiance. La devanture (sans 514 devant le numéro de téléphone) vous ramène dans le temps & le décor également. Un autre voyage temporel se situe dans le prix des plats: vous mangerez beaucoup trop pour 35$ par personne & apportez la boisson de votre choix. Idéal avec une Château Pichon Longueville 2015. Parce qu'au prix du repas, vous pouvez peser fort su'l gaz à votre SAQ préférée.

Serveurs gentils & attentionnés, qui vous laissent quand même fêter en toute intimité.

Si vous réservez: la table'downstairs' devant la baie vitrée. Nous y avons passé une excellente soirée.

Les entrées greques & les pitas sont excellents. Allez-y & arrêtez de vous faire livrer des sous-marins. Un sous-marins en livraison c'est jamais au top.
