New Royal India est présenté comme une adresse indienne authentique et abordable, où des samosas exceptionnelles, un garlic naan et un butter chicken incroyables s allient à un service toujours aimable et à des portions généreuses. Cet endroit est considéré comme une valeur sûre pour les plats à emporter et une vraie perle cachée par les clients qui apprécient l accueil chaleureux, l ambiance agréable et une quasi absence d attente; la nourriture est décrite comme délicieuse et authentique, avec des plats variés tels que lababdar, chicken tikka masala, paneer et chicken biriyani, même si certains plats sont jugés meilleurs que d autres et si le niveau d épices peut être ajusté sur demande. Le butter chicken est souvent recommandé et les portions offrent un bon rapport qualité prix; plusieurs conviennent que c est l une des meilleures cuisines indiennes de l ouest de l île et indiquent qu ils reviendront régulièrement pour une expérience globale de qualité, avec un service et une hospitalité reconnus.
New Royal India is usually my favourite Indian restaurant. It is always amazing.
However, last time we ordered something was different.
First of all, the onion bhaji were hard as rocks, nearly broke our teeth.
The byriani was not made with basmati rice (despite it clearly saying basmati on the menu).
Best samosas ever! The service is always kind & friendly. Their garlic naan & butter chicken are incredible as well. This has been my go-to Indian takeout spot for the past two years!

Basically, it was ok. Some dishes were better than others. If you figure out which to order & which to avoid you'll probably enjoy your food.
It was a take out order so I can't comment on the service, but the person that took the order was nice enough.
My take on the dishes we ordered:
- Really enjoyed the samosas.
- The lababdar, chicken & paneer, were both tasty. The color was a bit weird, I'm used to a redder color (maybe it's a regional difference), but I still enjoyed it.
- The chicken tikka masala was not very good in my opinion. The texture & color felt more like tomato (spaghetti) sauce. I've had much better.
- I didn't taste the butter chicken, but no one at the table was raving about it, or complaining about it (take this as you want).
- The naan didn't seem fresh & had no ghee or butter on it. It wasn't bad, but I've had better.
Wow. Delicious. I have been to many Indian restaurants & this was absolutely the best. Food was delicious. Service was friendly & very helpful (I ask a lot of questions). Portion were generous. Will definitely make this place a regular spot from now on.

This was the first time trying at NEW ROYAL INDIA. Went to try their Chicken Biriyani, ordered on the spot spicy, it was really good, presentation was fabulous with onions & lemon, chicken was tender & cooked perfectly & many blend of various spices. Atmosphere was very clean & most of all service was spot on A+++ they are very good people, hospitality was more than there. Thanks again guys, warm greetings
This little hole in the wall has great food. I know that I gave it 4 stars for a reason. The Chettinad chicken was very tasty, the goat was excellent, my wife said, & the lamb melts in your mouth. The rice was undercooked & wet. This is why I gave it a 4 star. The young lady behind the counter was the owner's daughter, & she assisted me in picking the food. Never knew this place existed. Great find. I will definitely go back. We bought a lot of dishes but the price is good.
