Came from Toronto & happened to be in the area, so we decided to try Nouveau Royal India & we're so glad we did! We had such a great time. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavour, & everything tasted fresh. The service was warm & welcoming, & the staff made us feel right at home. If you're in the area & looking for amazing Indian food, this place is definitely worth a visit. We'll definitely be back the next time we're around!

New Royal India is usually my favourite Indian restaurant. It is always amazing.
However, last time we ordered something was different.
First of all, the onion bhaji were hard as rocks, nearly broke our teeth.
The byriani was not made with basmati rice (despite it clearly saying basmati on the menu).

Hopefully this was a one time issue!

Best samosas ever! The service is always kind & friendly. Their garlic naan & butter chicken are incredible as well. This has been my go-to Indian takeout spot for the past two years!

Authentic Indian experience & food. Reasonable price & portions. Their medium spicy was pretty mild IMHO, if you want it hot ask for spicy.

Wow. Delicious. I have been to many Indian restaurants & this was absolutely the best. Food was delicious. Service was friendly & very helpful (I ask a lot of questions). Portion were generous. Will definitely make this place a regular spot from now on.

The food is DELICIOUS!! Went for a birthday party so we got to taste a few things from the menu- the samosas, the butter chicken, the paneer bites, incredible. The staff was super kind & friendly, I will definitely come back. Best Indian food I've had in Montreal yet- in terms of variety, taste, staff being so considerate.
