The customer service that we received was unprofessional & racist. The moment we stepped inside the store crew is already telling us about the tip (which is fine to mention btw but the crew's tone made it sound like we're not gonna pay). Also, they were telling us to close the door already but all of us didnt even step inside yet. I wouldnt recommend this restaurant to everyone.
Stopped here for lunch with my teenagers the other day. Lovely place, feels like you're going back in time a little.
We got a smoked meat, a fried chicken, & an onion poutine & it was a LOT! Probably could have gotten two instead of three but glad we tried them all.
The staff were amazing & friendly & we enjoyed our lunch.
We brought a foreign guest with our family to this place. The apprentice server brought a hot serving of poutine right into our guest's lap.
Manager on duty apologized, but the impression was already left.
Jenna was a very knowledgeable waitress & kind & brought a good vibe to our visit to montreal.
Hostess was not polite or welcoming when we came in … seated us at a table at the end of the secondary space & we were there waiting for service for about 10 minutes … we just got up & left …. Really disappointing because we came from Brazil & were looking forward for it

We only got the regular poutine & that was good choice. The curds were melted the gravy was nice- I wish it was just a bit hotter. The portions were quite generous for their prices. Two people could definitely share one. There just wasn't really something that stuck out to me that set it aside from over poutine places. I will say that for the touristy part of Montréal it was in, it had very fast service & the hostess' were extremely kind & friendly.
We were here with the friends of international company: we ENJOYED POUTINE, & the BEST service in French & English provided by Jenna!
Great experience over all. Kind staff, good drinks & the poutin was top tier. Worth a visit for sure. Get the fried chicken poutin.
Go there if you wanna get insulted by a moody waitress & have your food arrive 1 hour late & slammed on your table. Excellent example of a rude Quebec restaurant.
Poutine Montreal truly lives up to its reputation for having some of the best fried chicken in Montreal-crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, & full of flavor. Absolutely loved it!
I was also pleasantly surprised by their customized rum + hot water + honey drink-I ordered it for a sore throat, & it was honestly amazing & very comforting. Such a thoughtful & warming touch.
The only downside was the hot chocolate, which didn't quite meet expectations.
Overall, great food, excellent fried chicken, & a memorable experience. Would definitely come back again! 🍗🥃
I ordered the poutine & hotdogs loaded. Amazing everything & the service was awesome Christmas eve dinner was so needed after midnight mass Notre Dame Basilica.
