No pool tables, but damn good hot dogs!
Cash only - they'll take U.S. dollars at a 1:1 exchange rate, so you're better off paying in Canadian.
The menu is simple & classic: choose between cucumber relish, mustard, or sauerkraut. Ketchup? It's self-serve on the counter once you get your order.

Pour vrai y'a pas mieux comme endroit & c'est certainement le meilleur hot dog que j'ai jamais mangé. Les gars étaient super cool & nous ont même proposé une photo avec la ceinture. On a adoré. Sans parler des prix imbattable de nos jours. 12,50$ pour 2 hot dogs frite & boisson !!! Merci à notre ami qui nous disais qu'il fais ca depuis 20 & 30 ans. C'est incroyable de voir a quel point on peut garder le sourire. Je recommande à tout le monde. J'ai fais 10h de route pour manger à cet endroit & je ne regrette aucunementView more

Endroit figé dans le temps! Même décor qui rappelle les cafétérias d'hôpital. Un long babillard de photos de visiteurs connus, de cartes de visite jaunies. Un mur défraîchi, mais propre. Un vrai décor de travailleur affamé qui se fout du reste! Dès que je passe le quartier chinois sur St-Laurent, l'envie irrésistible d'y arrêter me gagne. J'ai commandé un Poutine & un hot dog steamer all dress. Les gens avaient tellement l'air bêtes que je me sentais mal de commander l'as bas. The hot dog was great. Ask them to put everything on it. You won't regret it (unless you have allergies of course). The food isn't the only thing special about the place though. Walking in, you'll quickly realize this location is a neighborhood fixture. They have all kinds of people coming in that look like they just got off of work or are in the midst of a night on the town. You can tell many of these people are regulars based on the rapport they have with the staff. Then there's the pictures on the wall. Photos that show the kind of pride they have in their business. I only had one meal there but if I lived in Montreal, I'd like to count myself as a regular. Oh & it's cash only, but they have an ATM.View more

Absolument plus rien à voir avec le Montréal Pool Room d'époque... L'endroit est sale & aucunement accueillant, on a l'impression de déranger les employés qui ne semblent aucunement avoir envie d'être là. Les frites sont molles & graisseuses, les steamés sont corrects mais ça n'a rien à voir avec les hot dogs goûteux du temps... Une bouteille de ketchup collante & une petite salière pour l'ensemble du restaurant.
