I am sorry, this is not the place for BKKQ. The beef ribs were so hard to chew I gave up. A Korean place that didn't have gochujang is not it either. My boys who normally eat alot in KBBQ lost interest after a few bites. We have been spoiled living in Western Washington where there is a big community of Koreans. & we traveled all over US trying KBBQs & we visted the heart of Korea - Seoul. Even in Wichita, Kansas has far better BKKQ.
We made a reservation in advance for 12:00 PM on a Sunday for a party of 25 people-effectively taking up about a third of the entire restaurant. Given that it was a holiday long weekend, you would expect management to schedule adequate staff. Instead, the restaurant was being run by exactly one waitress & what appeared to be only one cook in the kitchen.
To make matters worse, two other parties of six arrived at the exact same time as us. Because they were so drastically understaffed, the food quality took a massive hit. The steamed white rice was undercooked, the miso soup arrived at the table cold, & the beef was barely marinated. Most shockingly for a Korean restaurant, we were told they were completely out of ssamjang sauce.
Because service was moving so slowly, my group couldn't even take full advantage of the All-You-Can-Eat aspect. It took ages just to get food to the table or to get our grills changed, which completely ruined the flow of the meal. While we were waiting, we also witnessed multiple smaller parties get turned away at the door-some of whom actually had reservations.
I want to be very clear: this is absolutely no fault of our waitress. She did her absolute best under impossible circumstances. This falls entirely on poor management & terrible planning. They knew exactly how many people were coming & completely failed to prepare. Because of this experience, it is very hard to recommend this restaurant.
Mon Ami restaurant offers not only All you can eat option but also an All day menu. Their original fried chicken is so crispy, less flour & not too oily! 😍 Pollock sushi balances very well the fried chicken with a little sour & sweet taste from marinated vegetables. Bibimbap with beef complete the meal with just lil bit spicy sauce. Beef is not overcooked as some places. 3 dishes is much enough to share for 2 persons. Unique decoration, I like the atmosphere

Quick details ✅All you can eat / buffet ✅18h00 on a Tuesday ✅2 pax This is the second time my husband & I visited & had an AYCE at this restaurant but this is my first review. Only few tables were occupied so we did not have to wait to be seated but the restaurant itself is very spacious & clean. We did not visit the washroom so no review there. Food is good. Quite a number of choices but some were less appetizing than the others. Cheese ramen - it was cold & the sliced cheese did not melt. It is similar to that of an instant noodles. Soybean paste soup - not the same as the photo on the website of the AYCE menu. My husband said it was okay but he did not finish it. Seafood ramen - my husband said this is better than the other soups he tried that he had a second serving. The veggie dumplings, seafood pancake, korean glass noodle, Gimmari, kimchi & lettuce were good. Meats The first serving of the bulgogi (both the pork & beef) was really good but the subsequent servings of the beef bulgogi were very sweet. It tasted as if it was different from the first serving. Spicy pork was tasty & the spiciness is just right. Pork belly - thinly sliced, it is without any marinade but the sauces on the table were a good match. Korean fried chicken - this is one of the best food we ordered! Freshly cooked, it is crispy & moist & flavorful! I would've eaten more if not for the meat I wanted to eat! Service: We finally met Bruno, he is very attentive & provided a very good service! I've read positive reviews about his service & I must say it is true. Quick service & no missing items from our order. Value for the price: We paid around $105 (total) for 2 pax plus 1 diet coke. I think for the food & service, it was worth it! It was a great wedding anniversary night for us! Time limit: 2 hours - but even when we were few minutes shy away from the 2 hour mark, they did not rush us or anything. It was enough to get our tummy filled while having a pleasant conversation. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. We will definitely visit this branch again & recommend it to our friends! *Street parking available *I cannot recall if it is wheelchair accessible
