I recently tried this Korean restaurant & honestly, it was a really solid experience overall.
The food was definitely the highlight. The flavors were authentic, well-balanced, & you can tell they put effort into quality ingredients. The kimchi had that perfect tang-fermented just right-& the bulgogi was tender, juicy, & packed with flavor. Portions were generous, & everything came out fresh & hot.
Service was decent-staff were polite & attentive, though it got a bit slow during peak hours. Nothing too frustrating, just something to expect if it's busy.
The atmosphere was cozy & casual, great for both small groups & relaxed dining. Not super fancy, but clean & comfortable, which fits the vibe.
Pricing felt fair for the portion size & quality. Not the cheapest, but you're getting what you pay for.
Overall, I'd definitely come back. If you're craving authentic Korean food with good portions & solid flavor, this place is worth trying.
The waitress was very nice & the place is very cute. The meat itself was nice but everything else was bad. If you appreciate Korean food, you'll be disappointed with the side dishes. The rice was mushy & the seasoning was off for everything.
Love going to Korean BBQs & Mon Ami I'd always a solid option. Good variety of products, not the best, but always fresh, especially the raw food to cook yourself, always rhe best part of every meal, highly recommend the spicy chicken.
Good service, both waitresses (one of them was named Dominique) were super nice & helpful. Food was okay, not super authentic for example the tteokbokki was super soupy. Some meat was not seasoned (shrimp, pork belly) which was a little disappointing. It would have been nice to have some salt & sesame oil on the side for that like they do in most Korean bbq places. Other meat like bulgogi, spicy chicken (not authentic but good), the fried chicken were pretty good!
Also the right side of the restaurant seating does not have ventilation (fume hoods) which made it really hard to breathe at times. & now our clothes will smell like bbq for the rest of the day. This should be fixed.
Overall not the best but the service was really good which makes up for it a bit. I am also a bit biased having grown up with many great Korean restaurants in Toronto so this restaurant may be good for an introductory experience to k-bbq.
Overall a nice AYCE KBBQ experience! The service was first & friendly. The ordering system was perfect : scanning a QR code & ordering through your phone. I ordered almost everything on the menu but my highlights are : For the appetizers : get the seafood pancake, steamed beef dumplings & gimmari. For the main dishes : get the pork belly, korean spam, squid & some veggies. Don't forget the desserts are the end : Bingsoo.
First time at a Korean BBQ & it was a fun & interesting time. The waitress was informative of what to expect / types of food offered & how to do everything. Will be going back for sure
It's very good Korean barbecue, delicious all you can eat ! My favourite is beef short rib ! Also the dessert bingsoo is good too ! Perfect place with family & friends ! Will come back again ! Highly recommended !
