The food & service at Moishes were absolutely impeccable! Not only that, but the beauty of the restaurant makes the experience even more special. It was my first time there, but definitely not the last. Whether for a special occasion or simply dining with family & friends, this is a great place to be. I highly recommend it!
En premier lieu, j'ai toujours aimé l'expérience gastronomique chez Moishes & ma dernière visite abonde dans ce même sens. Depuis leur ré-ouverture/déménagement, je me suis adapté à leur nouveau menu & j'apprécie grandement la nouvelle ambiance dans ce luxueux restaurant. Seul bémol suite à ma dernière visite, le serveur lors de la prise de commande de notre table, a été interpellé par la table voisine & par la suite par la table d'en arrière, nous laissant en plan & revenant 5 minutes plus tard pour terminer la prise de commande ! Euh pardon !!! À mon humble avis cette façon de faire n'est pas digne d'aucun restaurant & encore moins de celui d'un standard comme Moishes. Objectivement, le serveur & les aide-serveurs répondaient à nos demandes, mais le fait de se faire'abandonner' comme il l'a fait, ça laisser un drôle de sentiment à la table. De plus, très souvent le directeur du restaurant passe de table en table pour s'assurer du bon déroulement de la soirée & hier personne n'est venu. Au final très certainement je vais y retourner.
Service was excellent. The staff was very helpful & knowledgeable. The Lamb was really very average unfortunately. It actually tasted more like a beef steak than lamb. Makes me wonder if they cook their lamp shanks in the same pans as their beef. The atmosphere was a little flat, didn't leave an impression good or bad.

Service is impeccable.
The food was better than any steakhouse in Montreal.
The price reflects all of the above...easily 100$ + person for an enjoyable evening.
Too rich for my blood to do it on a regular basis, but I'd return for a special event.
Nous avons profité du forfait « huîtres & champagne à volonté ». Le service de Maria était parfait! Nous avons été impressionnés par la quantité d'huîtres & de champagne servis! Pas de fausse pub ici !!!

The Mille feuilles dessert is amazing & will make me come back

The rest is above average, except for two things: feta cheese was no good & very salty, & the bread was very eggy, & smelly
Spent our last night in Montreal here, took the kids & all. Service was excellent, cocktails & dinner were a hit as well. Beautiful setting & a nice vibe. Highly recommend!
Always an outstanding experience. The food is consistently exceptional, service is polished, & the atmosphere is timeless & elegant. One of our all-time favourites.
Hands down best steakhouse is Montréal, no other can compete. The class , the history, the above & beyond service & simply the best dry age steak in town 👌

Moishes was so good we went back two days in a row! One of the best steakhouses my husband & I have been to, & we love our steaks.
Drinks were tasty, well balanced, & reasonably priced - we had the Le Rocket, whisky sour, & passionfruit mojito. The steaks had great sears & were cooked perfectly. Brussels sprouts were the best I've ever had - super crispy with a hint of sweetness from maple syrup. I ordered the garlic mash the first night concerned that my husband would miss his usual order of French fries, but he said it was actually his favourite side we tried between both dinners. I'd recommend trying all 3 sauces, & they have a secret spice blend that was lovely with the steak (we did miss that the first night). They also serve a coleslaw & pickles as a free appetizer, & they were maybe the best coleslaw & pickles I've ever had.
Shout out to our fantastic waiters Tristan & Alan! They were attentive (e.g. we were wondering what a bordelaise sauce was & Tristan overheard & answered before we were able to check Google, & when my husband ordered a mojito Alan recommended to elevate it with a passionfruit twist & now we might always need to order passionfruit mojitos), pleasant to converse with, & overall great at their jobs.
I would definitely recommend booking a reservation if you're set on Moishes, as we heard multiple groups get turned away because they were fully booked.
Very nice restaurant, the food was delicious. Steak cooked to perfection & the sides are good! However, for the price, I find the portions should be slightly more, but this isn't enough to remove a star because you can still go there & order a more reasonably priced dish.
