Service feels a bit adjusted to "which table might leave bigger tip"

All good as usual! Le gentleman à l'entrée... quelque tempes grises dans le personnels... une nouvelle génération qui va suivre... l'ambiance "cigar room" d'antan conserver! Wow... un vrai succès... Merci Rachel-Ann pour ton bon service & ta patience! Signé les deux barbus sur la terrasse, donc le polo beaucoup trop rose !! hahaha
New location is very nice with well-done touches from the old space. The staff was very good & friendly - although service was perhaps a bit slow. But they were courteous & helpful. The food was very good although I am not sure the rib steak was as good as the old place. The cole slaw & pickles were just like the old days. So all in all - pretty good at recovering the old Moishe's experience. The setting was very nice, the food was 85% as good as the old place & the staff did a nice job.
Pour être très honnête, un peu déçu. Nous sommes venu avec des clients. Bien que l aconmandes a été bien prise, les assiette on été mélanger pour chacun des clients (assiette servi a pas l'abonné personne) & les assiette s'accompagnent mélanger & moitié de la commande manquantes.
Nos clients avait fini leurs assiette avant que le serveur vienne nous demander si tout était correct.

The spirit of the real Moishes died in your restaurant Aside from the abusive prices & small portions. The taste & consistency were off. The best part of the meal was the millefeuille & coffee. The fries were pretty good. The bread plate was lacking diversity (only challah bread?- no black bread with a mix of other baked breads that made Moishes great?!
There was no steak on the menue or in fact that resembled a Moishes steak.
When they came out it was hard to keep a straight face. The plate was empty save for a funny looking slice of protein. With the challaj'h bread would have made a decent sandwich
What we got was amazingly salty. The crab cakes taste better frozen from Métro Thé ‘onions' with the chopped liver (pâté) were sludge. Too bad you had no idea what your restaurant was supposed to emulate.
The decor is nice although my wife had to sit on a pillow that we grabbed off a sofa
I wouldn't bet on a long term survival of your beautiful restaurant

It was our first time to the new Moishe's & we were very impressed with the gorgeous restaurant ...our server was outstanding but I decided to have a light dinner & ordered the vegetarian plate....the vegetables were delicious but it was very, very unappetizing looking ...a huge bowl , piled high ....& I just had a couple of bites ...😳

Multiple times food or drinks were brought to our table, we said that we did not order them, only to be questioned by the wait staff asking if we didn't want them anymore. They then realized they were for the next tables over. It seemed as if the numbering of the tables was off. For example, espressos were brought to our table, but we had not even received any of our food yet at that point. The wait staff then was asking us if we didn't want them anymore. After he took them back to the bar, he realized it was for the table next to us.
The experience was well bellow expectations.
We were a group of 15 & I reserved the private section weeks in advance because that was important for our group, & we didn't want to disturb other clients since we were a bachelor group.
I also when physically to the restaurant 2 days before our reservation (Thursday) to reconfirm that we had the private room & was told that everything was setup.
However, when we got there, the private section was not available, & we had to sit in the main dining room.
The service was also very slow we had to wait 35-40 min for the waiter to get our drink order. Some of us also went directly at the bar to get some drinks.
Ordering was also problematic, we were also supposed to get a fixed price group menu that we were not able to get & out of 15 peoples, 10 orders had to be changed because of shortage. That's just unreal, a steak house that run out of steak (the were no more Kansas Steak & fillet mignon).
After a rough start we asked our waiter to see the manager, but he never came to our table.
Overall, a very bad experience for all of us & that's I shame because I was looking forward to this event since I work at CDPQ in the same building as the restaurant.
Everybody at my table was happy with her me up, except for myself
I wish I'd known that the shish kebab was served Middle Eastern style. It wasn't what I was expecting.
