Fantastic evening at Moishes! The food & the service was five-star!

Me & my business partner are visiting Montreal for the second time. We are bloggers as well as youtubers. We wanted to see the hyped steak restaurant ourselves. A lady with the piercings was helping us with ugly pink nails. She treated us in such a weird manner I wasn't sure if it was because we didn't speak french or if it was because we filmed or because we looked young or like we didn't have money. We ordered a ceaser with fries & a new york steak assuming this place had good steak. I ordered vine but she couldn't find a clean glass in the whole section of restaurant. She finally viped the glass with a towel & poured my vine. Food was overrated even though the presentation was good the taste lacked a lot of soul. Poor kitchen or steak is not their forte.
The coatcheck was empty when we returned. Most of the old money white folks treated us disrespectfully bbut we weren't surprised. I will be talking about the disappointment this place gave me in my vlog.
For a luxury restaurant this place doesn't give luxury service & doesn't deserve the money or the name.

Le serveur m'a servi en cocktail 2 fond de bouteille de blanc & ne nous a pas servi le vin rouge avec notre repas nous l'avons fait nous meme & ne nous a pas demandé si nous voulions autre chose c'est bien loin comme service du boulevard St Laurent
Food was excellent, service mediocre, the waiter made many mistakes on our orders, forgot to bring plates, then we had to ask for steak knives, I assume it is because it opened not a long time ago, but when you charge high end price of high end food, service has to follow. I have been twice, I thought it was a bad luck but the same the second time. I hope they correct this, because it is beautiful & good.

We sat at table 100 last night & frankly found the waiter to be less than polite. On 2 occasions when I asked about a particular item he answered & I quote - I already told you that. I am not the type to reduce the gratuity but should have. I have been a loyal customer for close to 70 years. I have been to the new restaurant 6 times since the opening. Feel free to share my comments with David ,the manager who was off duty last night. Best.

Cozy stylish atmosphere! Impeccable service. Perfectly prepared dishes. Authentic pickles))) All the hosts & hostesses are wonderful. Special thanks to gen manager David!

BEST Filet mignon ever ! Just love the ambiance & it is the perfect Sunday family dinner:-)

1. L'accueil des employés à la réception & du service de valet & celui de notre serveur était 110%.
2. Le nouveau menu est très bon (avoir des bettraves & du choux de bruxelles dans le mélange de légumes grillés est vraiment audacieux). Le seul bmol est le goût du poulet grillé. Le goût est moins prononcé qu'avant & il est moins tendre aussi. J'ai une préférence pour la recette originale.
3. Le décor est magnifique. Merci d'avoir incorporé des items de l'ancien restaurant ou nouveau. C'est une belle touche.
Continuer le bon travail & merci pour cette belle expérience.

Le serveur chef etait impoli, arrogant & condescendant. Il m'a insulte en suggerant de prendre le gras dans (que j'ai enleve de la viande) dans mon assiette pour emporter.

La nourriture était trop bonneeeee j'ai beaucoup aimé MERCIIIII de nous avoir reçu. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

We were a table of 10, first time at the new "Moishes" but unfortunately the only thing like the old Moishes is the name.

Fantastic meal; it left 4 visiting conferences extremely impressed

Ribsteaks were just ok. Service was slow, though very friendly. Table was at the back next to kitchen exit & private room, so not ideal. Valet scratched the hell out of my steering wheel with whatever rings he had on.

Mauvais bourbon Manhattan sans zest d'orange ou de cerise; accompagnements minimalistes. C'est pas le Moishes d'antan.

L'excellence de Moishe's a survécu, bravo!
Pour les réservations vers 17:00, offrir les tables plus vers le centre du restaurant & non adjacent au bar... trop bruyant & passant...
