A charming and quaint italian restaurant in the Villeray neighbourhood where the atmosphere is joyful and homy. It was my first time at Moccione & it won't be the last. It was recommended to me by many people & it did not disappoint! The carapaccio is out of this world (a staple on their menu) & the artichoke entre ( a special for this season) was my favourite!
Le staff est sublime. La qualité de chaque service était supérieure ou à la hauteur des attentes. Je vous recommande le carpaccio de boeuf, arancini & le faux filet. Les portions sont généreuses.
Their newer location is great, much more space with a great atmosphere. Delicious dishes & some really good unique cocktails, their Negroni with olives is amazing.
Amazing restaurant. Slight modern take on italian food but still very traditional (full of flavour eith amazing ingredients). Calamari for starters were amazing (not fried!!) & rafu sausage pasta had nice little heat touch. Finally the beef & octopus were both beatifully executed & full of flavour. The mushrooms in the beef dish were something else. Beautiful decor & amazing service. Will go again.
Great restaurant! Service was very attentive, friendly & efficient. The food was of high quality & absolutely delicious from start to finish. Both pasta dishes we had were so good & not at all oily or salty as opposed to many other restaurants. To my surprise the calamari was my favourite dish of the night! They were fresh, perfectly cooked & the tomato sauce that came with it just really tied the whole dish together. Cocktails were also impressive & our waitress made great wine recommendations. Overall a great experience & worth the splurge. Would definitely recommend.
We had our company Christmas party last night & couldn't have hope for anything more. The food was over the top, the staff were all absolutely amazing. Everyone had a blast, thank you to everyone at Moccione for making this evening memorable!! ❤️❤️

Je suis très déçue d'apprendre qu'on ne peut pas réserver pour 8 personnes. Le restaurant n'a même pas tenté de m'accommoder. J'avais aimé ma première expérience, mais j'avoue que cette situation m'a grandement refroidie.
Un restaurant italien digne de ce nom!!! Tout était délicieux! Les arancini : gros WOW; les bucatini all'amatriciana: gros YUMMY!!! Les cannoli simplement DIVINS!!! Si vous cherchez de bons plats italien à Montréal, c'est LA place à visiter! On y retourne? LE PLUS TÔT POSSIBLE 😍😍😍
Everything here was incredible. We sat at the bar, & honestly it was the best spot in my opinion! The server recommended an excellent wine with what we ordered for dinner. She also made delicious cocktails. As mentioned in the previous reviews, it's not on the cheap side. But SO worth it! The service was impeccable, & the food was out of this world. I would highly recommend this place!
