On this visit the parents ordered large pho bowls & the children had grilled beef & chicken platters, all of which are generous portions. It was my first time there & I was tempted by the grilled chicken combo meal. The chicken wonton soup was very tasty & my main dish of grilled chicken was accompanied by rice, salad, slaw, & a chicken Imperial roll. It was a great choice, very plentiful for a reasonable price. I would return to Miss Pho & I recommend it to others. The service was polite & quick, which we appreciated. There were many diners on a Saturday mid afternoon, yet it wasn't noisy, something that's important to me when socializing.
I had the grilled pork with rice. The taste was spot on when compared to the better local Vietnamese restaurants. The price was reasonable too. They can improve on 2 items 1) in the meat dish, the pork chops were very thin. Almost hot pot meat thickness. Doubling the thickness & adjusting the price would make sense. It shows the effort they spent to cut the chops so thin 2) we sat in the middle aisle. During a cold day, the cold air rushes in & some of the guests kept their coats on while eating their food. I don't think they can do too much now. In hindsight, the pair of double doors should have been installed with an offset.
Our favourite pho place, located on Cote Vertu. Besides fabulous pho & grill platters, they also have great authentic dishes such as the Vietnamese rice crepe & super tasty pork belly. Their 3 color dessert is delicious & their iced coffee is to die for.
+ Grilled beef with rice was amazing Other grilled dishes are memorable + Staff had high sense of awareness Their greetings will always be remembered + Reasonable price + Facilities were clean (toilets too) - Closes a little too early - Desserts were too sweet (milk teas)
The food's great, but my soup barely had any meat, & the rice noodles were kinda skimpy too. It seems that they only add more broth when you pick the largest size, as evidenced when comparing my large soup with my friend's extra-large soup. Despite this, their dishes are tasty & full of flavor; we also enjoyed the fried wontons & spring rolls.
Miss Pho Montreal truly exceeded my expectations with their pho soup. The rich & aromatic broth showcased a perfect balance of flavors, highlighting the authenticity of Vietnamese cuisine. The tender rice noodles & generous portions of well-cooked meats added to the delightful experience. The ambiance was cozy, complementing the comforting warmth of the soup. The attentive staff & reasonable prices make Miss Pho a standout choice for pho enthusiasts in Montreal. A definite must-try for those seeking a satisfying & flavorful bowl of traditional Vietnamese pho.
Great food, generous portions & great service. Reasonably priced
Definitely a five star experience. I will definitely be back again.
Highly recommend the pork imperial rolls with rice paper(called Nem ).
The roasted beed rice noodle is pretty good. May try the noodles with soup next time
Tried this restaurant for the first time, ordered take out C1 - Grilled chicken & salad, it comes with rice, soup & imperial roll too. Great value for money & the meal if filling. Staff were friendly & service was fast, I hope to try their Pho next time. Thank you again!
