We came here while spending a weekend getaway In Montréal. Had such a great experience here! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, & full of flavor. The staff was welcoming, & attentive. The atmosphere was comfortable & inviting, making it the perfect place to relax & enjoy a meal. Everything exceeded expectations. We both had the steak frites from the chef selection which included salad or soup as an appetizer & a chefs selection for dessert. Everything was delicious! Definitely will be back next time we're in Montréall!
Overall it was not bad, but nothing special.

Prices are too high
Serve draft beer in small 200ml glasses (like ones for juice) but take 12$ for it (as for regular normal size)
Didn't ask about the side for a steak (though in the menu there are two options: with fries & salad)
Lack of service , administrator was impolite
Has no desire to come here again

The vibes are nice there, but its also missing salt, the salad is missing dressing, & the steak got scared away from salt & pepper as well!
The service is nice, but in training for sure.
My question is , why did i have to wait for utensils for so long.
The best thing was the fries. But like common, i can get those anywhere
My wife & I were very pleased with the service, the food was excellent, very tasty & satisfying, very friendly staff.we will definitely be back again for more of that signature steak,grilled salmon & oysters & onion soup.
WOW what an amazing experience!!! Omar, the GM gave us genuinely the best service my boyfriend & I have ever had. Chef Charles gave us a fantastic medium rare steak with a perfect velvety sauce. Shout out to Olivia, Youran, & Eric for such a lovely time all around.
The waiting time is really killing me. I think we wait for about 20-30min after the steak for a crème brûlée. Well the waitress definitely saw us when they were right at those tables near us, but seemed like no one wanted to take our plate & bring us the dessert 😶 The food is not bad not good, they are normal for me & nothing is special with them.
You can go or not, I would not recommend that much.
Located in Old Port, Mignon Steak offers amazing food, desserts & delicious drinks with a great dim light ambiance. Their steak frites & beef tartare are a must. The beef tartare is the best in town

Dropped in with my girlfriend to have oysters & a drink. Ordered the beef tartare & was delicious. Bartender Eric was really great & welcoming. We will definitely be back to try the steaks!
I got a raw steak (even tho I asked Medium well, the thicker part of it was unevenly cooked) & ended it up spending most my time in the bathroom. The atmosphere is nice, but because the lights are dim, I didnt realise the other half of the steak was raw immediatly.
My besties & I were craving a steak & this location was close to where we were staying & had great reviews . They did not disappoint we had the steak & fries & it was perfect. We still talk about it we will definitely return .

Unfortunately excellent atmosphere that doesn't match service & good quality. The steak we ordered came back well done despite ordering it medium. We were not extended a courtesy of being given a discount they charged us for even the house salad & didn't even apologize. Sadly I don't recommend
The restaurant is small but sooo cozy, make sure to get the window table for date night:) the steak portion is a bit small but its very tasty! Great place in the heart of old port.
My friend & I went for the three course meal deal. We had the carrot soup, steak with fries, & crème brûlée. All three items were really good. The soup was creamy, the steak was an amazing medium rare, & the crème brûlée was perfect.
The steak is definitely on the smaller side but the meal in its entirety is very filling & they give you a lot of fries. Definitely worth the money!

The experience was amazing, I loved the vibe, service is excellent! Omar was so friendly & professional explaining everything & suggesting.
We ordered the course of soup, salad, steak meal,fries & dessert, everything was so delicious & the soup was exceptional!
They gave me a cake for my bday as well
Will definitely go again!
The price is also so good.
Got the Table d'Hôte menu & a couple of wine glasses, the soup starter was very tasty & interesting, it was a cauliflour & leek cream soup. The steak frites was definitely the best course with the fries being absolutely insane. The steak was savory & the sauce was delicious. The dessert was not the best since they ran out of Creme Brulée. Very vibey, the food did take a lot of time between courses.
Beautiful little restaurant in the old town area. Signature Steak was perfectly cooked to how i requested (med-rare), & the dark chocolate mouse was to die for. Would highly recommend.
Nous avons trouver ce resto un peu par hasard, à la sortie d'un musée. Ma conjointe voulant des huitres, nous nous y sommes installé avec des amis. En bref, la bouffe était plutôt médiocre. Si en entrée les huitres étaient correctes, les plats principaux manquaient d'attention, sinon d'amour... Burger sans goût, peu assaisonné, banal... Steak cuit tel que demandé, mais tiède, mâchouillant, à déboîter la mâchoire... Frites OK, car congelées... & puis un non-sens culinaire : on ne mets pas dans la même assiette un plat en sauce avec une salade avec vinaigrette...! Par contre, bravo pour le service, attentif & patient. On y retourne ? Jamais... Pour un resto offrant une si courte carte, & une exécution aussi indifférente, y'a rien à faire...
