I understand the hype now, & i'm totally hyped over this place 😍 The spot is super cute, has the best golden hours. Also the best 5a7 1$ Oysters 🦪 The food is just incredible ; the meat cooked to perfection, creamy & hearty soup, fries are perfectly fried crunchy on the outside & soft on the inside, the butter is home made, the sauce is homemade too & super flavorful, desserts & drinks are on point 👌 I'll come back for the rest of the menu hihihi i want to try tartare & the mac & cheese 😁 !
Nous avons essayé ce restaurant le service fut excellent. Malheureusement la nourriture n'était vraiment pas à la hauteur. La soupe & la salade de la table d'hôte était moyen, le steak moyen la sauce vraiment pas bonne. Le hamburger était bon mais la poutine ne l'était pas avec la même sauce que le steak. Nous avons été très déçu de notre souper.

Mignon was a highlight of our visit to Montreal. Only in town for three days & we went there twice! Literally the best steak frites I've ever had, full stop! The tartare was outstanding, our appys: outstanding, the wine & digestifes: outstanding, the service: yup, outstanding! Our servers were knowledgeable, friendly, engaging. We have already sent friends to Mignon from Toronto, & they had to go there twice as well! In the freezing cold Montreal winter streets, Mignon glows like the warmth of the hearth… but with steak!
La cuisine est de qualité. Les ingrédients, la quantité, les saveurs recherchées, rien à dire. Le prix est même très généreux pour ces plats qui se savourent.
Le personnel est très accueillant mais vite débordé & distrait. Pourtant peu de clients ce soir là. J'ai donc décidé de ne pas laisser de tip, j'ai bien senti la frustration !
Petit restaurant charmant à l'image de son personnel attentionné, le tout accompagné d'une cuisine savoureuse & gourmande. Nous avons passé une excellente soirée
Unfortunately, the steak was not as I remembered it when they first opened. It was as tough as show leather, difficult to eat & the sauce was thick & pasty. We were also pretty much forgotten at the table despite sitting next to the kitchen. That's the last time I'll eat there.

Belle ambiance. Le serveur était agréable mais pas trop informé de son menu. Pour la nourriture... Belle présentation & prix raisonnable, malheureusement pas à mon goût. Mais... les gens autour semblent heureux avec leur assiette.
I've been wanting to go to the restaurant for months & I finally went & was not disappointed. To be honest this might be one of my favorite restaurants. Everything was very good & service was quick as well! The decor is cute & I just loved the vibe!!
Their price fixe is good & better value than most steak places & comes with unlimited fries & their mignon special sauce (mushroom base) is excellent. MB rating 7/10.
Got the buck a shuck oysters (actually 1.99) & the jalapeno sauce it came with was awesome. The steak tartare was very good & came with a super generous portion of fries. Came in on a Monday night at around 6 so it wasn't that busy. Sat at the bar & bartender was really good. Very friendly & provided some good suggestions.
