Excellent selection of Beer. Food was also very good. We had the mac & cheese & the Burger. & of course some beer. Honey Brown was my choice.

For the past 5 years when passing by Mont-Laurier, I make sure to stop at the Microbrasserie (often needing to reserve in advance!). The newer chef is out of this world & surpasses most renowned restaurants in Quebec & Ontario. MDL serves both regular bar foods & exceptional dishes including tartare beef, bison & tuna, etc. Newer on the menu this year is the octopus which is spectacular (would take a full paragraph to properly describe). Octopus is a difficult dish to execute & often 90% overcooked even at prestigious establishments. The MDL is a hidden gem & has always impressed me by food quality & execution (creative plating) which shows the care into providing exceptional food & making it a fabulous culinary experience.

J'y suis allée quelques fois, & je n'ai jamais trouvé la nourriture très bonne. Par contre la bière est bonne. Les prix sont plutôt élevés pour la qualité de la nourriture. La terrasse c'est biene & le service ça a toujours été le point fort pour moi.
