Had a beer which was good, nice vibe, the food looked good though didn't try it, & there's a nice ping pong table upstairs that I used which was a lot of fun.
La nourriture était très bonne, les bières étaient bonnes, particulièrement les stouts & les sûres. Le personnel est rapide & agréable. Beaucoup de stations pour jouer entre amis.
L'endroit est très bruyant.
We went there as it was one of the selections on the Montreal passport - the charcuterie board & beer were delicious, our waiter was awesome! We bought beer to take home.

Rude manager & staff! I ordered a beer & I left 10-15 seconds to hang my coat, when I asked for my beer bartender insisted that he gave me the beer already & manager also confirmed, while that was not true for me, & we argued!! maybe someone else took my beer, idk, but just for a $10 beer behaving like this is definitely out of respect for customers!
Cela fait 2 ans que je viens au memento, j'adore cet endroit. Cependant, j'avoues avoir été très déçue hier soir. L'un de nos serveur (blond portant un t-shirt rouge du memento) a été particulièrement désagréable. Il nous parlait sur un ton inapproprié, le fait d'être une femme plus jeune m'a fait ressentir qu'il se permettait plus de choses qui si j'avais été plus âgée ou un homme. Lorsque nous sommes allés régler les factures, ce dernier est passé derrière moi en me criant de bouger & en me touchant le dos pour que je ne sois plus dans son chemin, ce qui est totalement inapproprié! Ce dernier semblait être ivre. De plus la musique était trop forte on devait crier pour s'entendre. Je suis très déçue de cette expérience. Memento était un endroit de référence pour moi & j'en garde malheureusement un goût amer & ne penses plus y retourner avant un bon moment...
Une brasserie ou tu reviens pour différent occasion. Sois universitaire, fête de ton enfant, soirée entre amis ou en couple. Services toujours chaleureux, les repas délicieux & le goût de leur bière t'emmène dans le ciel. Saveurs différents, riche, prononcé, vous allez trouver votre favoris. Le mien- Gisèle Tangorino habanero & Ch(y)iste nebo ! Brovo !

On était un gros groupe pour un anniversaire à se promener d'une table à l'autre. Mais Éliot circulait avec aisance, se rappelait des noms de tous le monde (même ceux qu'on oubliait nous-mêmes 😅), se rappelait de qui était avec qui, il était rigolo, avenant & toujours à l'affût de nos besoins. Bref, en contrôle solide!
& ses collègues qui lui donnaient un coup de main étaient tout aussi souriant & toujours là quand il le fallait. Une équipe avec une belle énergie & un vrai souci du client. On s'est sentis pris en charge avec bienveillance.
Franchement, si tous les serveurs étaient comme ça, on sortirait au resto plus souvent… & notre portefeuille serait moins content 😂
So what they call a'pint' is actually a glass! At least be honest & call things what they really are. They don't even offer pitchers.
Also we had to wait for the food for an hour. Beer is pretty decent though.

Nice place with good beer & a relaxed vibe. The staff is friendly & welcoming, & the atmosphere is cozy. Great location & perfect spot to meet friends & enjoy a fun evening together. I would happily come back again. 🍻
Memento is my go-to place for great beer, food & entertainment in Montreal. I've tasted a lot of different beer in my life but Memento's lineup of spicy beers turned it completely around for me. Spicy Mexican lager, spicy porter & my personal favourite - Winnie La Gose is just pure magic, I literally cannot stop drinking it when I'm there. You should absolutely try Memento's beer, it's amazing & could tell they put a lot of effort & passion when they brew it. The place itself is spacious 2-story restaurant with big bar & amazing thoughtful decor everywhere. There's a lot of activities too: foosball, darts, arcades, board games & more. Food is great, prices are fair, whenever I come to Memento I have a lot of fun. Celebrated new year's here, it was super, we partied till the morning. Oh, & during sports events they have a special food menu - try the chicken wings, you won't regret it!
Cannot say enough good things about Memento! We came as a large group & was incredibly easy to make a reservation online. We also had some special requests (we came with a bachelor party) & the staff were incredibly accommodating & helpful, ensuring my friend's celebration was nothing short of perfect. The drinks were cold & their fries & hummus were 🤌. Plus, the games were so fun & the space welcoming. Can't recommend enough!
Memento Bar is a true gem in Montreal-warm, intimate, & full of character. The atmosphere alone makes it special, but what really elevates the experience is the incredible team behind it.
George, the barman, is a standout. His cocktails are easily among the best in the city - perfectly balanced, creative, & crafted with real expertise. Whether you order a classic or ask for something custom, he absolutely delivers.
The food is just as impressive. Oleksandr's authentic Ukrainian borsch is outstanding - rich, comforting, & deeply flavorful. It's the real thing, made with tradition & heart, & it leaves a lasting impression.
On top of all that, the entire staff is exceptionally professional, friendly, & welcoming. You genuinely feel taken care of from the moment you walk in. Memento Bar isn't just a place to have a drink-it's an experience built on passion, skill, & great hospitality. Highly recommended. 🍸🍲
