Melk is a small, cozy coffee shop with a great location. They serve delicious coffee. The staff is friendly & the service is pretty quick. Recommend!
I love their lavender & dulce de leche lattes, & their coffees overall. What I did find somewhat off putting is the fact that you are immediately presented with a tip prompt when you go to pay.
Awesome roaster. I've been buying their beans for months & would recommend them for those that make their own espresso at home. The coffee served in-store is certainly great as well, but the limited space makes the place feel crammed.
Super friendly staff & coffee tasted great! It's a small location so seating is limited but it's a great cafe to pop into!
There are some ups & downs to this one but overall a good spot. The two things that docked it for us were the noise & cround. I know you cant do much about the amount of people in there but the way the sound bounced around the tiny room really made it hard to talk. That being said, it had a nice atmosphere otherwise with light design & greenery. The main thing that matters is how the coffee is & the coffee was pretty good. They let us have a sample of the coldbrew before ordering which was great. In general the staff was super friendly & fast for how many people were in there.
Such a cute spot to grab some coffee or matcha! This was the best matcha I had on my Montreal trip & the service was impeccable. Small spot but lots of character.
Overall, not bad. Better than Starbucks!
The matcha is good, but it was overpriced considering I ordered a large iced coffee & matcha, & the matcha cup was smaller.
The'bio-milk' they use is nothing special besides your regular grocery, affordable milk. At the very least, I thought it would be one of those fancy, expensive grocery milks.
The pastries are also good, but are just a bit too sweet for my taste.
The vibes are cute & cosy, but small.
As soon as you open the door, the aroma that permeates the air is a double enjoyment of vision & smell.
But the coffee is bitter, even with sugar, it's still so bitter that I doubt my life.
Coffee was great. A tad pricey. Small quiet location. You may or may not get seats.
One of the servers this morning was rude to me. He didn't want to serve me for any reasons & kept washing dishes. The barista who were supposed to do the coffees only, saw the situation & came himself to take the order. The rude server then shout at me'receipt'? Who does that & what was his problem?? The Latte I took was terrible. Only milk & I couldn't feel a drop of coffee.
Small but cozy coffee shop. Limited seating space but found a spare stool to wait out the rain. Maple latte was smooth & tasty.
Very good coffee generally & a great reputation. The chocolate wasn't mixed well in my mocha leaving a bunch of half-melted chocolate at the bottom so a little disappointed there. Will come back to try again though
Coffee lovers, this is Montreal's finest!
I absolutely love the taste here.
Crowds nonstop, shoutout to the baristas who keep it flowing!
A cozy spot for an afternoon coffee or matcha. The staff are very nice & remembers my preferences. It can get super busy in the morning of work days. I would probably not come during that time, because the line can get quite long & the wait time as well. Their cookies are also quite tasty. They pair well with their Latte, but maybe a bit too sweet when eaten by themselves.
I find it hard to be served in french at this location. The snacks are not decadent enough. So pricey, too!
Small location with uncomfortable seating.
Filter coffee is undoubtedly the worst I've had... four times in a row! No more of this melk for me.
