Food:
MELK was a great coffee stop. The mochaccino was smooth, rich, & not overly sweet, with really nice latte art on top. The matcha was also excellent, bright, creamy, & clean without being bitter. The croissant was the standout food item, with a deep golden crust, crisp flaky layers, & that buttery center you want from a good café pastry.
Service:
Everything was quick & easy, & the drinks came out looking as good as they tasted.
Summary:
A really solid Montréal café. Great mochaccino, great matcha, & a legitimately good croissant. Simple, polished, & absolutely worth stopping in.
Very good matcha latte. We were able to sit, slowly sip our match, & not feel rushed. Very relaxing atmosphere.
Came here to study! Totally recommend. I got the matcha latte & it was super good. Atmosphere was traditional cafe vibes & there is free wifi & outlets everywhere.
Perfect café! Nice place with space to work as well. Lovely staff & incredible Matcha Latte, one of the best I have tried 🥰
Not a lot of sitting space but quick & friendly service & solid chai & matchas. Delicious cookies :)
if i could put 0 stars i would . The barista was so mean & rude to us even though she did our order wrong. We told her politely to change it she was so rude to us she said : Oh i will change it AGAIN . & my matcha was only milk it tasted horrible . So rude i am very disappointed.
Their matcha latte & scones are simply the best. They bake several batches of fresh scones throughout the day. The cheddar, everything bagel with cream cheese, & chocolate blueberry scones are just so good. You do need to go in early though as after 2pm they are usually all sold out. Worth the trip!
