Megâteaux is such a fun & creative dessert concept - a full DIY cake bar right in Verdun! You get to build your own layered cake by choosing your base, frosting, & toppings. I went with the vanilla cake & crunchy praline, & it was seriously incredible - perfectly balanced & full of texture.

Everything is fresh, beautifully presented, & it's such a playful experience. No reservations required, just drop in & build your dream dessert. I'll definitely be back!

I liked the concept & the taste, I recommend to try it once!

Pros:
-Fun & original concept (create your own individual cake).
-The homemade hazelnut praline paste is delicious & crunchy. I bought a container to take home (I just wish it was a little cheaper).
-The cake is not too sweet so you can add the filling without worry.
-Not too expensive for what it is (around $8 for an individual cake).

Others:
-I recommend using the vanilla cake rather than the chocolate cake because you will add cream & filling.

Absolutely delicious little cupcake! I picked the carrot cake & vanilla cake with cream cheese frosting & raspberries. Absolutely delicious - you can really taste the quality of all the components. Yum!!!

Atelier décoration de gâteaux : love it , it was fun I learned a lot the teacher /owner was very patient professional & kind. The result in my eyes was superb. I would definitely recommend. I will be back for the atelier cupcake. I tasted the vanilla cake on site & it was really good. I brought back home the chocolate cake & it was a success in my household. Perfect taste, & texture. Not too sweet not too heavy just perfection.

The taste is just not quite there. Chocolate & vanilla cakes taste the same. Icings are not very flavourful either & toppings are right at the front to the food bar not covered ( not very sanitary) Very nice people won't be going back for sure!

(Le français suit) Make your own cake: choose the sponge, the filling & the toppings! You can mix & match different flavours. Genius. I did 2 layers of vanilla sponge cake, one layer of vanilla buttercream, one layer of passion fruit cream & coconut on top. It was delicious, fresh & just the right amount of cake! The owner is lovely. She offers classes, as well. I wish her the best of luck with this new business! Créez votre propre gâteau : choisissez la gâteau, le crémage & les garnitures ! Vous pouvez alterner plusieurs saveurs. Génial. J'ai fait deux couches de gâteau à la vanille, une couche de crème au beurre à la vanille, une couche de crème au fruit de la passion & de la noix de coco sur le dessus. C'était délicieux, frais & juste la bonne quantité de gâteau ! La propriétaire est charmante. Elle propose également des cours. Je lui souhaite bonne chance avec cette nouvelle entreprise !
