The music was fantastic & our server Fred was even better! There was never a moment I wanted a drink & she was not there. The best service I have ever had!!!
Pour vai , la bouffe était vraiment excellente . Rien a dire là -dessus. C'etait tellement délicieux.

On arrive là & l'hôtesse est non chalante, traine les pieds & pitch les menus sur la table & ne dit rien d'autre.
Ensuite le serveur super poli, s'exprime bien, mais avait une attitude vraiment étrange.
Il approche notre table vers 17h passé & nous demande si on va manger aussi, on venait expressément pour la nourriture.
On commande notre drink ensuite il se tient pres de botre table avec son collègue & jase assez longtenps, & malgré quon a déjà fermé les menus & malgré plsuieurs eye contact & quon semble attendre , ol continj de jaser avec son collègue. Ensuite il passe derriee nous pour aller je mis où & il revient sur ses pas pour savoir si on veut commander.. bien sure... finalement il prend nos commande, ensuite un autre fars viebt nous porter notre plat. Jusque là ça va, mais finalement personne nous a demandé si c'était a notre gout. Si tout allait bien & personne neet venu chercher nos. Menus non plus par la suite. On a fini notre souper avec les 4 mêmes menus sur la table. Assez ordinaire.. . Pourtant les autres clients avaient l'air d'avoir un autre traitement . On a rien comprit, on est bien déçu car on aimerait y retourner car c'était si bon...

Amazing table service at McKibbin's Irish Pub! Farah was funny, thoughtful, & a total joy. She even remembered my exact drink order from my last visit - truly impressive.
It's rare to come across service that makes you feel remembered rather than just served, & Farah does exactly that. She made our evening feel relaxed, special, & fun.

Waiter somehow got our drinks wrong not once, not twice, but 3 times. Waited a long time for 1 simple drink. Food took even longer. Even though they reassured us multiple times that it was coming shortly, when it finally arrived it was awful. Cold, dry, texture & taste all wrong. Had to wave over several different workers just so we can get our bill & pay. Good thing we left when we did too, because the live band (bless them, they were super) was WAY too loud , nobody could hear what anyone was saying.
For a Saturday girls night out, we were very disappointed to say the least.
I think they are probably understaffed & overwhelmed.
Nous avons très bien mangé, par contre... Le service était à désirer... Je prends la version'deluxe' sur mon burger, je n'ai pas eu de fromage d'extra, lorsque je l'ai mentionné, mais que j'allais tout de même garder mon assiette, la serveuse est partie vers la cuisine avant que j'aille même terminer ma phrase. Nous avons ensuite attendu 25 minutes avec nos assiettes vides, puis quand nous avons demandé la facture, elle est venue avec le terminal, puis elle est partie pour servir d'autres clients...Après 5 min d'attente à la table, seul avec le terminal, j'ai quitté puisqu'elle était en train de parler au bar en attendant les drinks de ses autres clients.C'était la première fois que j'essayais ce resto après de nombreux commentaires, je ne crois pas y retourner une autre fois.
I had an amazing experience at McKibbin's. The food & the drink were great. The service of our waitress Rébecca was fast & she was very kind. I would come again.
Service was weak. No water, never came to see if we wanted another drink. Leaving this review now because I've been waiting for 35 minutes for a sign of life just so I can get the bill. Food was alright, nothing special. Decor is nice, that's it.
It is a very good option, they have large variety on food & drinks. The staff is very friendly, nice persons, very attentive. The food is good too, except for the fries, or mayne we just got a bad batch that day. I would recommend the fried pickles, their ranch dip is amazing.
Great spot to slow down, have a pint & relax. Really great service. Drinks are great. Food is delicious. Really liked the vibe & the staff. Look forward to visiting again
Horrible ending to our night, false accusations by their staff...
My friends & I went to this pub as a portion of our celebrating one of their birthdays this evening. For context I & my friends are in our late 30s to early 40s, & we had beforehand gone to another establishment but the temperature was unbearable as they did not have air conditioning so we sought out an alternative & chose Mckibbin's.
Funnily enough, Mckibbin's didn't have AC either but we ended up staying for a few drinks regardless, mostly to appreciate the live music which was quite good. The waitress was good as well, quick & friendly, we had a minor snafu with a couple of the drinks which were not to our liking but the bar graceously replaced them which is yet another solid point in their favor.
Why, you might ask in that case, would I be rating this establishment one star then? Well it all comes down to how we ultimately exited the establishment. We all paid our tab at the table, & finished up the rest of our drinks, still enjoying the music playing. It was a great band by the way, I just have to say. We all ended up leaving after 10-15 minutes & all seemed well, except it was only once we're outside that I found out that apparently one of our group who had gone to the bathroom had been victim of a rather apauling scenario.
He had been in the stall for 10 or so minutes (he was doing what he had to do .. sometimes nature calls), & was interrupted by a knock on his stall only to hear the bouncer tell him he had to pay & get out of the bar immediately. The bouncer aparrently had heard him'sniffing' his nose in the stall, & found that to be appropriate reason enough to accuse him of doing cocaine in the stall, & to force him out of the bar. Of course it did not cross his mind to think that perhaps it had something to do with the bar being at approximately 29 degrees, perhaps my friend simply had a stuffy nose, or perhaps he had allergies, no he heard a few sniffles & that was all he needed to throw out allegations.
Needless to say, I'm completely & utterly disgusted having learned this. Ultimately we left & let things be, we weren't about to bust back in there & cause disruption for no reason we were already on our way out anyway, but to think that this man, employed by this establishment, could be so outlandishly shortsighted is a true injustice. Suffice to say, my friend has never done cocaine in his life, we quite literally made jokes about this man's accusations the whole ride home. Still, I will never go back to this place, because I shudder to think of myself in his situation & what I might do, how it would make me feel to be on the bad end of this kind of person's shortsighted & unfounded accusations.
That said, I urge anyone & everyone to beware of the types of people this establishment has working under its payroll. Most of their staff (everyone else in-fact) were excellent, but unfortunately it only takes one completely rotten apple to ruin the bunch.

Awesome ambiance, great service & great drinks. The food was just okay. I had the bison burger, which was flavourful, but the bun was soggy & falling apart. The French fries were nowhere near the taste you usually get from pub fries, they tasted like frozen fries that weren't fully cooked through
Ce soir, nous étions certaines de recroiser Farah ! Tbh c'est un amour cette fille la ! Mais finalement nous avons rencontrer Jen ! Elle est incroyable ! 5 secondes & tu as ton drink! Drôle, à l'écoute, patiente & attentionnée!
Un resto que j'avais vraiment hâte d'essayer... & une déception totale la place est superbe par contre le service oufff j'ai due courrir après le serveur pour lui dire qu'on avait faim nous étions trois & nous avons tous été déçu de nos plats... le pire a été le fish & chip qui sentait & baignait dans l'huile dommage car la quantité de poisson a l'intérieur était très bien mais le goût ne venait pas avec malheureusement, les frites étaient raides comme de veille frites qui on été cuite à plusieurs reprises. Poliment nous en avons glissé un mot au serveur qui nous a répondu tout le monde est arrivé en même temps désolé, qui pour moi est une réponse qui a aucune sens. 3 petits drinks ordinaires un fish & chips & une entre de nachos partagé 98$. A savoir que le prix ne m'aurais pas t'en dérangé si j'aurai bien mangé. Malheureusement c'était notre dernière fois à cet endroit qui nous semblait t'en prometteur.

The service is really friendly but the wait times tend to be a little long. We had to wait about 15 minutes after being seated to order something to drink & then another 15 minutes to get it. It's not dramatic but it can be improved on. The food came in waves instead of all at the same time but it was within normal margins. The quality was there & the portions are good for the asking price. Also, the music & the overall atmosphere was on quieter side wich is a big plus compared to other restaurants/establishments in Dix30 where you can barelly hear the others at your table. All in all would recommend.
Food & service is a hit or miss. Been here twice with the first time having great service & decent food. The second visit was horrible. Waited two hours & had yet to get our food. As usual, tables that came an hour after we ordered got their food. The waitress was nice, kept going to the kitchen & telling us it would take about 10 more minutes a couple of times, but still no food. Someone in our group of 6 talked to the manager about the two hour wait for food (all that was ordered was a couple of burgers, a sandwich, wings & fries). She said there was nothing she could do about the wait. They were busy. The place was half empty & it was 9:15pm on Monday night. We kept pressing & she finally said she had to make a phone call to discuss the situation (if you are the manager you should have the power to make decisions & handle problems). Came back with an offer of a round of shots (we refused cause all we wanted was our food). When we said we wanted to cancel the food orders, she gave an offer of a round of beers (again we refused cause we already had 2 beers each & at this point just wanted to pay for our drinks & leave). She gave a final offer of comping a beer if we waited for the food (for some reason she didn't like the idea of canceling the food orders). Another 30 minutes later the food came. It was around 9:45. So after waiting 3 hours for the food order…the burgers, wings & fries came & they were all cold. If there was a table that waited 3 hours for their food, as a manager I would definitely make sure that the order was accurate & piping hot. It feels like the staff said screw these paying customers so that they would never come back.
