Good pub & often good live music. But compared to the other Mckibbins not good for live sports EPL football(soccer) & Rugby. For an Irish pub I think this is fairly important & would be great to have on the south shore.
Amazing table service at McKibbin's Irish Pub! Farah was funny, thoughtful, & a total joy. She even remembered my exact drink order from my last visit - truly impressive.
It's rare to come across service that makes you feel remembered rather than just served, & Farah does exactly that. She made our evening feel relaxed, special, & fun.
Give this woman her flowers - she's a star ⭐?

J'ai tout adoré de mon moment au Mckibbins, MC était vraiment chaleureuse & à l'écoute avec nous! Le menu est varié & a su répondre au goût de chacun! Les options sans gluten était vraiment un plus! Nous y étions pour le match d'hockey, mais nous sommes restés pour écouter le chansonnier par la suite :) Très heureuse de ma visite sur tout les points! J'y retournerai! :))

I had an amazing experience at McKibbin's. The food & the drink were great. The service of our waitress Rébecca was fast & she was very kind. I would come again.
My husband & I had an enjoyable date night at McKibbin's. The staff was remarkably friendly & responsive, & they did a fantastic job of catering to us. Top marks for the exceptional customer service.
The food was also great & was served quickly. My husband couldn't stop raving about his bison burger, calling it one of the best burgers he has ever eaten. My tacos were also delicious, filled with generous pieces of battered cod fish.
We'll definitely be back, maybe with friends &/or family next time!

Dès que vous franchissez la porte du McKibbins au Quartier Dix30, vous avez l'impression d'entrer dans un monde parallèle où l'Irlande & le Québec ont fusionné pour créer un univers de bonheur brassicole & gastronomique. Les boiseries sombres, l'éclairage tamisé & l'odeur envoûtante du malt grillé donnent le ton : ici, on ne vient pas juste pour manger, on vient vivre une épopée culinaire & sociale.

🍺 La bière : un pèlerinage pour les papilles
La carte des bières est si généreuse qu'on pourrait passer la soirée à juste lire le menu… & on ne regretterait pas une seconde. Entre les classiques irlandais comme la Guinness servie à la perfection (avec cette mousse onctueuse qui ferait pleurer un moine trappiste) & les microbrasseries locales choisies avec amour, chaque gorgée est une déclaration d'amour au houblon. Le verre arrive toujours à température idéale, la mousse tient comme un nuage crémeux, & chaque bière a sa propre petite histoire racontée par un serveur qui connaît ses produits comme un sommelier connaît ses grands crus.

Le burger McKibbins ? Probablement une invention divine. Pain brioché parfaitement doré, viande juteuse, fromage fondant, & frites croustillantes comme si elles avaient été bénies par le dieu de la patate. Le fish & chips ? Un chef-d'oeuvre crousti-moelleux avec une panure dorée à souhait & un poisson d'une tendreté qui défie la gravité. & ne me lancez même pas sur la poutine irlandaise… une création qui pourrait résoudre les conflits mondiaux. Les portions sont généreuses au point que vous vous demandez si la cuisine a mal compris la commande, mais non : ici, la générosité est une philosophie.

Le McKibbins, ce n'est pas juste un resto, c'est un théâtre de la convivialité. Les soirées avec musique live transforment l'endroit en un festival improvisé, où la guitare, le violon & les voix se mélangent aux rires & aux conversations. On se surprend à discuter avec des inconnus à la table d'à côté comme si on se connaissait depuis le secondaire. Même un lundi soir pluvieux, l'endroit pulse d'une énergie chaleureuse qui vous fait oublier l'heure (& parfois le lendemain matin…).

Les serveurs & serveuses ne sont pas juste du personnel : ce sont des ambassadeurs de la bonne humeur. Toujours un sourire, toujours une recommandation juste, toujours présents au bon moment pour remplir un verre vide ou vous convaincre d'essayer le dessert maison. Vous avez l'impression qu'ils sont heureux de vous voir, & ce n'est pas du marketing - c'est sincère.

Le Pub McKibbins au Dix30 n'est pas seulement un endroit pour manger & boire. C'est un temple de la camaraderie, une ambassade de l'Irlande au coeur de Brossard, & un point de repère pour tous ceux qui croient que la vie est trop courte pour boire de la bière tiède ou manger des repas tristes.
Si vous cherchez un endroit où chaque visite est une fête, où chaque assiette raconte une histoire, & où chaque bière est un voyage, ne cherchez plus : le McKibbins est votre nouvelle maison. & bonne chance pour partir avant la fermeture…
We went to Mckibbin's after swimming for a snack! This place brought back so much memories! I used to go to the Mckibbin's near Concordia University after school. We ordered a small pitcher of Sangria, & a club sandwich. Everything was great & the waitress was lovely. Perfect !
Nous avons ete hier sur la terrasse du McKibbins Dix30, la serveuse Marie-Christine a pris le temps de nous expliquer le menu, nous avons eu un excellent service! Le nacho irlandais etait excellent!! Mon conjoint a pris le burger bison, une tres bonne portion. Jai pris la poutine au curry, le gout surprend, mais la sauce est tres bonne. seul bémol, je trouve qu'il n'y avait pas assez de fromage en grain, c'était peu pour le prix & la grosseur de l'assiette disons…on y retournera assurément!! :)
Horrible ending to our night, false accusations by their staff...
My friends & I went to this pub as a portion of our celebrating one of their birthdays this evening. For context I & my friends are in our late 30s to early 40s, & we had beforehand gone to another establishment but the temperature was unbearable as they did not have air conditioning so we sought out an alternative & chose Mckibbin's.
Funnily enough, Mckibbin's didn't have AC either but we ended up staying for a few drinks regardless, mostly to appreciate the live music which was quite good. The waitress was good as well, quick & friendly, we had a minor snafu with a couple of the drinks which were not to our liking but the bar graceously replaced them which is yet another solid point in their favor.
Why, you might ask in that case, would I be rating this establishment one star then? Well it all comes down to how we ultimately exited the establishment. We all paid our tab at the table, & finished up the rest of our drinks, still enjoying the music playing. It was a great band by the way, I just have to say. We all ended up leaving after 10-15 minutes & all seemed well, except it was only once we're outside that I found out that apparently one of our group who had gone to the bathroom had been victim of a rather apauling scenario.
He had been in the stall for 10 or so minutes (he was doing what he had to do .. sometimes nature calls), & was interrupted by a knock on his stall only to hear the bouncer tell him he had to pay & get out of the bar immediately. The bouncer aparrently had heard him'sniffing' his nose in the stall, & found that to be appropriate reason enough to accuse him of doing cocaine in the stall, & to force him out of the bar. Of course it did not cross his mind to think that perhaps it had something to do with the bar being at approximately 29 degrees, perhaps my friend simply had a stuffy nose, or perhaps he had allergies, no he heard a few sniffles & that was all he needed to throw out allegations.
Needless to say, I'm completely & utterly disgusted having learned this. Ultimately we left & let things be, we weren't about to bust back in there & cause disruption for no reason we were already on our way out anyway, but to think that this man, employed by this establishment, could be so outlandishly shortsighted is a true injustice. Suffice to say, my friend has never done cocaine in his life, we quite literally made jokes about this man's accusations the whole ride home. Still, I will never go back to this place, because I shudder to think of myself in his situation & what I might do, how it would make me feel to be on the bad end of this kind of person's shortsighted & unfounded accusations.
That said, I urge anyone & everyone to beware of the types of people this establishment has working under its payroll. Most of their staff (everyone else in-fact) were excellent, but unfortunately it only takes one completely rotten apple to ruin the bunch.

Nous sommes allés au Pub McKibbins au Dix30 le 7 juin pour souper, sans réservation. Nous avons eu droit à un accueil incroyable de la part de Damian : Bonne humeur, sourire & personnalité enjouée. Même chose du côté service. Notre serveuse, Charlie L, est dotée d'une personnalité pétillante & d'une grande gentillesse. Elle nous a bien guidée pour les choix menu. En fait, plusieurs personnes sont passées pour voir s'il nous manquait quoi que ce soit, incluant le « bossboy ». Superbe équipe. Nous avons tous pris excellent vin Italien, les crevettes popcorn & le poulet crémeux au Whiskey - vraiment délicieux. Nous reviendrons pour sûr.
We went to McKibbin's Irish Pub DIX30 yesterday. This place is very clean, very friendly work staff, our waitress Sophie was excellent, & she had an awesome personality. We absolutely loved the Guiness Nachos. I enjoyed having Moosehead Lager on tap there too. This was our first time here, & we look forward to coming back. I would recommend this place to anyone.
The waiter messed up our order & never came by to refill our water. The stew had mostly chunks of lamb fat which was very off putting. The ambiance isn't as warm as other McKibbin's.
