This was not our first visit to McKibbin's Irish Pub Dix 30, but we felt compelled to leave another review following our most recent experience, particularly because of the exceptional service we received.
The terrasse is beautiful, thoughtfully designed, & surrounded by abundant greenery, creating a pleasant & inviting atmosphere. It is clearly a well-maintained space & a wonderful place to enjoy a meal & a drink.
As usual, the food was very good & met our expectations. However, what truly distinguished this visit was the quality of the service.
We were served by Benoit R., & we can honestly say that this was the best service experience we have ever had at McKibbin's Irish Pub Dix 30. Benoit was attentive, courteous, friendly, & exceptionally professional throughout our visit. His attention to detail & genuinely welcoming attitude made a very positive impression on us.
Excellent service can make a significant difference in the overall dining experience, & Benoit certainly contributed to making our visit an enjoyable one.

L'ambiance est incroyable surtout les mercredi, la nourriture aussi est à tomber. De plus, la barmaid est juste incroyable, gentille aimable & vraiment le fun a parle
Très belle première expérience en famille avec nos chiens acceptés sur la terrasse! Jade, notre serveuse a été très amicale & sympathique & nous a proposé des repas'must à essayer' qu'on a adoré! 😀
McKibbin's used to be a go-to spot for us, but our recent visit here was extremely disappointing.
?There was no'wait to be seated' sign at the entrance, & a waiter explicitly waved us in & told us to sit anywhere. We picked a booth, but shortly after, a waitress came over & demanded we move to a two-person table.
?The restaurant was virtually empty-maybe four other tables were occupied in the entire place. What made it worse was her complete lack of customer service. She didn't smile or offer a polite explanation; she just gave us an order & walked away.
?Feeling completely unwelcome, we immediately got up & left. On a block with at least five other competing options, it's a shame the staff treats customers this way. We won't be returning.
Le restaurant est en plein coeur du quartier DIX30. Il y a beaucoup de stationnements souterraints & ce près du restaurant. L'ambiance est très festive. Le service est rapide & professionnel. Le fish & chips & la Guinness me rappellent Dublin. Le hamburger avec la viande de bison rst succulent. Une belle place pour finir la semaine. BRAVO 👍
Wow sincèrement nous avons adoré! Tout était parfait, la nourriture, l'ambiance, nous avons très apprécié l'enthousiasme de Benoît notre serveur, nous allons certainement revenir!
Pub irlandais typique avec une belle terrasse. Il faut stationner à l'arrière & marcher quelques minutes (devant piétonnier). Une seule serveuse en devoir un mardi midi (calme) même en patinant bien, le service était lent. Les fish & chips étaient toutefois superbement délicieux & généreux, malgré une erreur désagréable, un morceau pas assez cuit. L'erreur fut corrigée rapidement & efficacement (sinon un 5 aurait été approprié pour la cuisine). La salade de choux sortait de l'ordinaire. Beau menu varié de spécialités irlandaises & bières variées, le tout à prix raisonnables.
À visiter, si le dix30 ne vous agace pas trop.
Great pub! Love the vibe inside! Service was amazing! Food portions were huuuuge so we ended up ordering too much. Food was delicious, loved the quesadillas! We all could have done a better job at reading the description on the menus but also I wish they had nugged us a little on how much food there was gonna be cause I really hate wasting food. But overall, we had a great time!
