A lively slice of Ireland & a crowd that feels like old friends. The beer list is broad enough to make even the pickiest pint snob happy. My fish & chips took a bit of a swim in the fryer, but the burger looked like it had its act together-definitely the smarter order. All in all, a top-notch pub for pints & music.View more

Horrible ending to our night, false accusations by their staff...
My friends & I went to this pub as a portion of our celebrating one of their birthdays this evening. For context I & my friends are in our late 30s to early 40s, & we had beforehand gone to another establishment but the temperature was unbearable as they did not have air conditioning so we sought out an alternative & chose Mckibbin's.
Funnily enough, Mckibbin's didn't have AC either but we ended up staying for a few drinks regardless, mostly to appreciate the live music which was quite good. The waitress was good as well, quick & friendly, we had a minor snafu with a couple of the drinks which were not to our liking but the bar graceously replaced them which is yet another solid point in their favor.
Why, you might ask in that case, would I be rating this establishment one star then? Well it all comes down to how we ultimately exited the establishment. We all paid our tab at the table, & finished up the rest of our drinks, still enjoying the music playing. It was a great band by the way, I just have to say. We all ended up leaving after 10-15 minutes & all seemed well, except it was only once we're outside that I found out that apparently one of our group who had gone to the bathroom had been victim of a rather apauling scenario.
He had been in the stall for 10 or so minutes (he was doing what he had to do .. sometimes nature calls), & was interrupted by a knock on his stall only to hear the bouncer tell him he had to pay & get out of the bar immediately. The bouncer aparrently had heard him'sniffing' his nose in the stall, & found that to be appropriate reason enough to accuse him of doing cocaine in the stall, & to force him out of the bar. Of course it did not cross his mind to think that perhaps it had something to do with the bar being at approximately 29 degrees, perhaps my friend simply had a stuffy nose, or perhaps he had allergies, no he heard a few sniffles & that was all he needed to throw out allegations.
Needless to say, I'm completely & utterly disgusted having learned this. Ultimately we left & let things be, we weren't about to bust back in there & cause disruption for no reason we were already on our way out anyway, but to think that this man, employed by this establishment, could be so outlandishly shortsighted is a true injustice. Suffice to say, my friend has never done cocaine in his life, we quite literally made jokes about this man's accusations the whole ride home. Still, I will never go back to this place, because I shudder to think of myself in his situation & what I might do, how it would make me feel to be on the bad end of this kind of person's shortsighted & unfounded accusations.
That said, I urge anyone & everyone to beware of the types of people this establishment has working under its payroll. Most of their staff (everyone else in-fact) were excellent, but unfortunately it only takes one completely rotten apple to ruin the bunch.

Nous sommes allés au Pub McKibbins au Dix30 le 7 juin pour souper, sans réservation. Nous avons eu droit à un accueil incroyable de la part de Damian : Bonne humeur, sourire & personnalité enjouée. Même chose du côté service. Notre serveuse, Charlie L, est dotée d'une personnalité pétillante & d'une grande gentillesse. Elle nous a bien guidée pour les choix menu. En fait, plusieurs personnes sont passées pour voir s'il nous manquait quoi que ce soit, incluant le « bossboy ». Superbe équipe. Nous avons tous pris excellent vin Italien, les crevettes popcorn & le poulet crémeux au Whiskey - vraiment délicieux. Nous reviendrons pour sûr.View more

Awesome ambiance, great service & great drinks. The food was just okay. I had the bison burger, which was flavourful, but the bun was soggy & falling apart. The French fries were nowhere near the taste you usually get from pub fries, they tasted like frozen fries that weren't fully cooked throughView more

We went to McKibbin's Irish Pub DIX30 yesterday. This place is very clean, very friendly work staff, our waitress Sophie was excellent, & she had an awesome personality. We absolutely loved the Guiness Nachos. I enjoyed having Moosehead Lager on tap there too. This was our first time here, & we look forward to coming back. I would recommend this place to anyone.View more

Went for supper & karaoke last night. Ordered burger with strong Cheddar ...it said! Lol was small. No taste looking for the cheese. Small portions . Mozzarella sticks not amazing either . Dissapointing . Place is nice though. But not happy with food . Told waitress about the food. She said .. well it's only a pub. Soooo. Peachy answer! Come on ! I won't be back to eat for sure .View more

Wife & I sat at the bar, standard pub food that took me back to my days at Concordia. The staff sat us down quickly & we had our food quickly. I ordered a Blue Moon was nice & cold, bartender was very respectful & quick. Will be back soon for another pint.View more

Standard pub food, good but excessive salty. Service was on par. Music is horrendous. Basically chom 97.7 blasting Brian Adams. There is zero Irish pub vibe in this joint. Music plays a major role in the feels. Felt like I was at st Hubert bbq with the modern style decor. Overall - if you're looking for a nice Irish pub experience, cozy atmosphere with traditional music & positive vibes, -do not go here.View more

Gigantic Pub. Very large space with lots of rooms & a lovely atmosphere but the service leaves much to be desired. Waiting times for pints, food etc. is too long. Waitresses only see you every 30 minutes. Overall beautiful place but needs more staff.View more

Nous y sommes allés le premier weekend de l'ouverture. Belle place avec une belle ambiance. Nourriture de pub. Le burger de bison est très bon. Les frites sont excellentes. Nous avons bu une pinte de blanc Velvet avec de la guiness. Les prix sont très raisonnables. Bon service de notre serveuse mais le garçon qui apporte la nourriture ne parle pas un seul mot de français. Assez spécial pour un endroit au dix30. Somme toute j'ai apprécié.View more
