This restaurant is a hidden gem! The food is super delicious, full of rich Yemeni flavors. The vibe is amazing, with the soothing scent of bokhor & Arabic music creating a warm, authentic atmosphere. A perfect spot for a flavorful & cultural dining experience!
Food wasn't that much in taste as I heard & with the reviews
They're saying it's Yemeni taste, but I can assure the taste is not even near to the Yemeni cuisine
They need to improvise a lot in every dish they're preparing especially the need to work on kunafa, it seems like it's an Indian oily dish
Most important they need to put proper salt & pepper power at least
Don't take my comment in an offending way
I just pray for you to improvise so that when we travel from another province we should feel happy to eat
Cheers!!
Amazing food that truly reminded me of home in Saudi Arabia! Everything was fresh, flavorful, & authentic, you can really taste the quality. The staff were very kind & welcoming, especially the young lady who greeted us. Highly recommend this place if you're craving real Yemeni or Gulf-style food!
The best cuisines in world. Yemeni food is best served & delicious food. Highly recommended 1million%
Best experience in town. The place is so friendly & has amazing options. It's halal & the owners are super friendly. You can feel the Yemeni culture from the amazing decor. Great food taste especially the mazbi chicken. Thanks.
First time trying Yemeni food. We ordered the Mogalgal (spiced, grilled meat) & Mazbi Chicken (chicken on rice). Both were delicious, packed with bold spices. We also got sides like the sambosas & shafoot (yogurt based thingy, tastes herby) which were decent additions. Ended with kunafa-sweet, cheesy, & perfectly crispy. So good.
Delicious as always! Mazbi is the only Yemeni restaurant in Montreal & it never disappoints. The food is full of flavor & the meat just falls off the bone. Highly recommend!
Amazing halal Yemeni food. Recently renovated.clean washroom. You won't regret it
Delicious food & great service! I had the Mandi for lunch & it was full of flavor. Highly recommend this Yemeni spot!
A modest Middle Eastern restaurant, specialized in Yemeni cuisine. We had chicken & lamb mazbi: the lams was good, but the two very thin slices of meat. The chicken was almost burnt & was not good at all. The service & atmosphere are both very basic. The quality /price ratio is high for what you get as food & service : $70 (including tip) was too high actually for what we had. Overall experience: it was just "OK" & nothing special & we won't go back again
I appreciated the tenderness of the lamb, but overall, this experience was disappointing. The bread served was not the right type for Fahsa, & providing only a small portion for the entire dish was inappropriate. The rice was overly spiced, overwhelming the flavor, & the prices were far too high for the quality offered. The presentation & the dishware were quite underwhelming. I was excited to find a Yemeni restaurant in Montreal, but I left wishing I hadn't visited. That said, the service was friendly.
Very relax & cozy atmosphere. Music in the background fits right with the yemeni culture. The food was generous with excellent service. For around 20 $ to 25 $ I can say that I ate like a king. I highly recommend!
Great quality homemade style food! The chicken was super tender & so tasty. I would say I've had better tea & kunefe elsewhere but this was still pretty good. The waitress was really nice & gave great recommendations. We ordered a lot of food & found the bill to be very reasonable for what we got. It's a great place to go as a small group if you want to try different kind of cuisine since there aren't many yemeni restaurants in the city.
As a Yemeni, their menu prices are way too expensive compared to other restaurants, maybe because of lack of competition since they are the only Yemeni Restaurant in Montreal. The quality & portion of food is not up to level. Very disappointed.
Excellent food. Best Yemeni food in Canada & the owner Nail is very welcoming!
Oh god ... this restaurant is incredible, I loved everything about this authuntic Yemeni restaurant starting from the warm & hospitable service from the staff, then the comfortable & lovely decoration ,after that was the amazing food ,I had the mandi lamb ,mazbi chicken & the mogalgal beef. Each meal is so different & delicious 😋. Don't forget to try their dessert ( Fata with dates & the kunafa & the chai Adani) it is the best . Thank you Mazbi Team I will definitely come back
