I have to start by saying that the food was genuinely delicious. The flavors of the spices used to cook the rice & chicken were excellent. The bread & broth were also very tasty. Overall, if you're looking for Yemeni food, this is definitely a good option.
The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, & the staff were very polite & welcoming.
There are just two things worth mentioning:
First, the food takes a little longer than expected to prepare. It took around 40 minutes for us.
Second, I found the prices a bit high considering the portion sizes. In my opinion, the price to portion portion ratio could be better.
Overall, we enjoyed the food & had a good experience.

I'm a big fan of Arab & Middle Eastern food, & this was my second time trying Yemeni cuisine. My first experience with Yemeni food was amazing, so it encouraged me to try Mazbi Restaurant at their new location on Saint-Denis.
The restaurant is located in an area full of restaurants, but Mazbi still caught my attention. The staff was very kind & welcoming. We received the menu right away, & after about 10 minutes, our server came to take our order.
We ordered samosas & the Mazbi chicken. One downside was the waiting time: it took around 35-40 minutes after ordering for the food to arrive, which felt quite long considering the restaurant was not very busy.
When the food arrived, the presentation was very nice. The chicken was grilled on the barbecue & had a good flavor. Overall, the taste was average & I enjoyed it. My only other criticism would be the portion size, which was a little smaller than I expected, although still reasonable.
Overall, I liked Mazbi Restaurant. The food was tasty, the atmosphere was pleasant, & the staff was friendly & welcoming. I would come back again, especially if the service time improves.

Honestly… the mazbi was SO, SO good! 🔥😍
We honestly didn't expect this level of cleanliness, flavor, & deliciousness! Every single bite was better than the last, from the rice, to the chicken, to the meat. Everything was full of flavor & cooked perfectly.
& the yogurt with mint? Absolutely incredible! 🤤
From start to finish, everything was a real pleasure. You can taste the quality & care in every dish.
Would come back again, again, & again & highly recommend it! 🔥❤?

Visited Montreal from Toronto, Ontario, & had the chance to try Mazbi Restaurant. First of all, the customer service was amazing. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, & very knowledgeable about their food, ingredients, & flavours. They took the time to explain everything properly & made sure we were ordering dishes that matched our taste preferences, which made the experience feel very personal & genuine.

You can really tell this is a hardworking, family-owned restaurant that takes pride in serving authentic Yemeni food. We tried several items from the menu, including the broth, chicken mandi, chicken mazbi, lamb mazbi, & a couple of other dishes whose names I can't quite remember & everything was full of flavour, fresh, & comforting.

Overall, it was a great experience from start to finish. Authentic food, generous hospitality, & a warm atmosphere. Definitely a spot worth visiting if you're in Montreal & want real Yemeni cuisine.

I was really hungry then i decided to come to this place
I ordered mazbi lamb & chicken mandi
Firstly never go with owner's suggestion to eat at amy restaurant
He asked me to take chicken mandi
& for the rice half smoked & half tomato rice
The rice is tasteless & meat & chicken is very very salty you can't eat
I also tried marag soup they added a lot of turmeric powder which changed the taste
I have never seen mandi without mayonnaise or garlic sauce nor any nuts on the top
They served with yogurt & tomato soup

Honestly speaking disgusting taste
Very pricy food with not a good taste
Waste of time & money

I had an amazing experience in this Yemeni restaurant. It's a family business, & you can truly feel the warmth & care in the way they treat their customers, the Beef Mugalgal & Mazbi Chicken were absolutely delicious

Mazbi Restaurant serves some of the best mandi & grilled dishes I've ever had. The rice was perfectly cooked, full of flavor, & the meat was tender, juicy, & delicious. We tried the lamb mandi, chicken mandi, & grilled chicken - all were excellent & full of authentic Arabic taste.

The restaurant was clean, comfortable, & the food came out fresh & hot. The portions were generous & worth the price.

Special thanks to Abdullah for his kind & professional service - he was very friendly & made sure everything was perfect for us.

Highly recommend Mazbi Restaurant to anyone who loves real Middle Eastern food! 🍗🍛🔥
