La salade de melon d'eau & la dorade étaient fabuleuses : c'était frais, plein de saveurs, bien présentés. La sauce tzaziki accompagné de pain pita chaud : délicieux! Les vins recommandés étaient parfaits. J'ai tout aimé…à l'exception de la vue sur le chantier de la rue St-Paul. Je reviendrai assurément! Merci pour tout!

Best Greek spot in the old port! The food is to die for, the service is impeccable & the atmosphere is cozy & intimate. The waiters were super detail oriented & the manager Billy was the cherry on top! Overall this restaurant is an 11/10 & we will definitely be back :)

Wonderful last meal in Montreal- service was great, food was amazing! Would definitely return & highly recommend! We shared the Greek salad & the pork chop- w/veg of the day which was asparagus- all was delicious! Emylina was great! Everyone was great! Thank you!

First trip back to Montreal after many years. Stopped at Taverne Grecque Mati & was not disappointed. The service was outstanding, very attentive - from greeting at the door, seated & waited upon. Great menu suggestions & conversation with waitress. Food was amazing (still dreaming about the spanakopita). Back home in Ontario & still thinking about the food.

We have traveled all over the world to many Michelin star restaurants & I must say as a Greek, this is the best Greek food I have ever had. It is a crime this restaurant does not have a Michelin Star. The food was incredible the octopus & the lamb melted away & the dips were even incredible. The service & owner were incredibly friendly, helpful & attentive. Even their music selection was amazing. The atmosphere, service, & food were on another level. 5 stars doesn't do it justice. Highly recommend if you want an unforgettable meal.

We had an incredible experience last night at Máti. From the moment we walked in until the end, we enjoyed every bit of it. The service was top notch & the food was delicious, best Greek food I have ever ate so far & I have been to Greece. It's clear that the chef & kitchen staff take pride in their work. Can't wait to return next time I'm in Montreal.

The restaurant was noticeably understaffed, which meant the workers were very busy & often distracted. The lamb chops were tough, as the connective tissue had not been removed properly. While the tzatziki was good, it was pricier than what we encountered at other Greek restaurants. On a positive note, the interior design of the place was pleasant.

Cuisine grecque raffinée & originale, personnel très aimable, cadre moderne & épuré avec de belles hauteurs sous plafond mais beaucoup trop de bruit dû aux grandes tables dans un espace non insonorisé & le volume de la musique trop élevé, malgré nos demandes pour le diminuer. Dommage car sans cela, l'expérience aurait été vraiment top.
