Don't come here / À éviter :
We tried the iron matcha drink & it was not enjoyable at all. It was extremely gritty as whole dates were blended directly into it & unfiltered. It felt like drinking sand & the date bits kept getting stuck in our teeth. The cardamom flavour was overwhelming & in general the flavours did not mix well. We also tried the choco hojicha drink which was even grittier, but the flavour was a bit better. Unfortunately, it tasted stronger of chocolate than hojicha. Also, the drinks were not prepared fresh-they were pre-prepared & stored in the fridge. Matcha should always be whisked fresh, especially for an $11 drink (with tax & container deposit). To top it off, the owner made a weird comment about how the women in our group should not pay for the men's drinks. There is misogyny in the milk :(

I went into this café, thinking it would be a nice authentic experience however, the owner was so rude & blatantly condescending towards me. I asked him a simple question about regular milk & he started getting so mad at me acting like I was offending his culture (he's not even Japanese). I tried to leave multiple times during the interaction & he did not let me & he was being so blatantly mean & condescending. I will never be returning here again. Do not come here.

Had such a great experience here while visiting from Toronto! The owner was incredibly accommodating & welcoming, which made the whole visit feel even more special. I tried the Iron Matcha with pumpkin seed milk & it was amazing!! Smooth, rich, & perfectly balanced. I also learned that pumpkin seed milk is a healthier option, which was a nice bonus!

As someone who regularly makes matcha at home, I was really impressed & will definitely be trying this style myself. I even picked up some of their matcha powder, which was very reasonably priced.

The ambiance of the place is lovely, calm, cozy, & a great spot to relax. The portion size of the matcha is generous & absolutely worth it. I'll definitely be coming back next time I'm in Montreal!

On our endless search for the finest matcha, we took a delightful chance on a mysterious, intimate tea room. They quickly exceeded our expectations, showcasing an impressive selection of organic matcha & a variety of enchanting Japanese & Taiwanese teas.

What makes this tea room unique is its dedication to matcha drinks-not the traditional lattes you often come across, but rather thoughtfully crafted beverages that celebrate the rich flavors & qualities of matcha in their purest forms. We were particularly taken with the presentation; our drinks were served in sleek glass bottles to go.

We decided to try the Ironmatcha, infused with the warming essence of cardamom, which created a bold yet comforting flavor profile. The Jasminematcha was equally captivating, as fragrant as it was delicious, highlighting the delicate notes of jasmine.

We were pleasantly surprised by the pumpkin seed milk, which was just incredible. Its earthy, nutty flavor paired harmoniously with our matcha selections.

Additionally, the tea room featured a charming boutique with an array of tea-related items, from exquisite tea sets to premium matcha tools, allowing visitors to take a piece of their experience home.

Interestingly, this place doesn't seem to engage with social media, as we discovered a humorous sign stating'no TikToks' inside! It only added to the authenticity & allure. It's clear that the focus here is on creating a genuine & intimate experience rather than cheap marketing.

Our visit was a delightful adventure, & we couldn't resist sharing the wonderful experience we had. This tea room is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates the artistry of matcha & the tranquility of a serene tea experience. 🎋🍵✨

Such a great locally-owned matcha spot! The owner really knows their stuff when it comes to teas, & you can tell they genuinely care about the products they sell. The milk for lattes are homemade! I love stopping by for a quick chat & always end up learning something new about tea.

Super kind & informative owner. Tried the matcha latte & I think it's the best I've ever had-the pumpkin seed milk has a deliciously unique taste! If I lived in the city, I would be a devoted customer.

Beautiful place & experience. The owner makes sunflower seed milk from scratch & it was a delightful taste with our iron matcha. He's a true artist!

My friend & I popped in a super hot day looking for a refreshing drink. We ordered the cold iron matcha "latte" to go & were pleasantly surprised by the format & unique taste, earthy & subtly sweet thanks to the homemade nut milk. We've thoroughly enjoyed our experience & look forward to going back soon. Merci!

The drinks were so earthy & tasty! We talked to the owner for a while & he talked about the benefits of certain teas. He is clearly very knowledgeable about teas & their properties, & he even takes the time to make his own milk (out of pumpkin seeds)! Great service & a lovely little shop/resto.
