This restaurant in North Hatley was cute & charming, with beautiful scenery. However, the portions were extremely small for the price, & we were surprised by an extra $5 per person charge for live music-adding $15 to our bill for three people. It did take a while to have water refilled, & no one did seem to check on us during our meal unless we grabbed their attention, which is always uncomfortable to do.
While it's a lovely spot in a tourist area, we'd likely try a different restaurant next time we're back.Voir plus

Reserved a table overlooking the water & boardwalk.We ordered 5 different plates & all were very good.Post supper I ordered a coffee & dessert.Coffee was off the charts good as well as the dessert.My wife & I very much enjoyed how peaceful & relaxing supper was overlooking the water.I don't think the owners understand just how lucky they are to have that garden overlooking the water because it is screaming out loud for love & care.My mind went wild with ideas on what I would do with this absolute jewel of a location.C'mon guys do not! let that beautiful piece of property waste away.Show it the love it greatly deserves.Bring it lo life with some proper landscaping & the vibrant colours of wildflowers & beautiful shrubs.Voir plus

Lived in this area for 24 years & it's the first time we have gone to this restaurant. Not a big selection on the menu but our choices were delicious 😋. Will definitely be returning.

We held a private event at the Merc & the whole experience was wonderful. The team helped us create a menu to accommodate everyone's food preferences & dietary restrictions. The room they set up for us was lovely (the perfect weather allowed us to use the extra space by the river - especially great for the children). & the food was presented so beautifully & tasted amazing. The bar was available for all our guests. I can't that the Merc Team enough. You made a special day even more special.Voir plus
