The best calamari I've eaten in my life by far. The sauce that goes with it is exquisite. They only take cash but there is an atm machine in the basement. I suggest to have a reservation. The price is reasonnable for the quantity of food.
Best calamari in town!!! The chicken souvlaki on pita is also good but not to the same level as the calamari. Parking in the street can be difficult & best to arrive early if going for dinner because on the weekends their is a lineup outside. Also you can only pay by cash so make sure you bring cash.

Love going here & their food is good & consistent, but noticed the pork Gyro meat was sweet which is not to my liking. Seems the chef wants to try different flavours. I would suggest to keep it the same as it's was great before. I will go back but probably not order the same thing.
Hands down best Greek restaurant in montreal, best calamari in the city, great service, amazing food , worth to wait the line outside ,highly recommend

It's worth every penny! Their chicken is very tasty, very generous with their portions you can even take home some of the food. Don't forget to get their Calamari!
Très bonne brochetterie grecque à Montréal comme il s'en faisait dans les années 80. Excellent rapport qualité prix. Les assiettes sont généreuses & la nourriture est fraîche. Les calmars frits sont difficiles à battre. Le service est rapide & courtois. Arrivez tôt sinon attendez-vous à patienter à l'extérieur parce que le restaurant est très bondé en soirée. Argent comptant seulement.
This place is a gem, the waiters while a little rough around the edges are attentive & responsive. I sampled the olive plate, greek salad, calamari & the lamb chops, all of which were exceptional & very generous servings. Get there early or you'll be waiting in line.

No frills, packed on a Sunday night & i get why. Portions are huge, service fast & food is tasty. Its a bang for your buck. Not your typical souvlaki stick, its more brochette size, big chunks of marinated chicken, tasty rice & greek salad. Next time we will do a pikilia & some other apps. Im already looking forward to our return.
This is the absolute best restaurant in Montreal. Food, portioning, & appetizers are all amazing! I ordered steak & in my opinion, it's done best here at Marvens with the Greek style. Highly recommend for those who are traveling in Montreal.
Edit: I finally went back after 1 year of waiting. It is way better this time around. I would love to come back here as much as I can throughout my life.
Does this place really need a review? Probably not but I'll give one anyway. They do rib steak better than most steakhouses in this city, their calamari is unmatched & their portions are huge for fair prices. The only complaint is that they are so busy the wait time can be long & the noise level high. Definitely 5 stars

Amazing customer service & delicious food! The lamb chops were incredibly flavorful - truly the highlight of the meal. Our server, Andrea, was excellent & made the experience even better.
Best Greek grill in Montreal, since 1973 ! We've been coming for years & never disappoints.
The rib steak is truly amazing, tender & expertly grilled. It's served with sautéed mushrooms, chunky home fries, & a huge Greek salad.
Don't forget their calamari & tender lamb chops.

This is a landmark in Montreal, & truly worth a trip to Park Extension. There may be lineups, but it's worth it.
